🐶 Dash & Dot 🐶 My name is Ashley Gaskins. That is where we are at as of May 2024.

This page started in 2023 by myself and my spouse Matthew McCall as '2 Bad Pups' - an online pet supply store. We realized that pet supply sales was not what we wanted to do for the pet community. For a short period, the page was just '2 Bad Pups' where I would record the outings of our pups - Dash and Dot. Now, I have realized that I want to bring the pet parents of Greenville, Winterville, Pitt

County, and Eastern NC together through social events and outings! I want to work with local businesses to host events and outings for the Pet Parents of Greenville, NC. If you are a local business interested in hosting an event or outing for this group, please DM me! I will try to respond within 24-48-hours. I do work full time as well as volunteer my time, so please forgive me if it takes a couple of days to respond to your message. I am on the Board of The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina and would like to also highlight the pets that are up for adoption and the great work that they do for our community! National Severe Weather Preparedness Week for North Carolina was back in March. Since then, I am sure you have been updating all of your preparedness plans & kits, but did you remember to include your pets in your plans? 🐾

June is National Pet Preparedness Month, so now is a good time to add your pets into all of your severe weather plans and make them their own emergency kits! 🧰

Make sure to pack things like:
- Food, water, & bowls
- Identification, vaccine history, rabies certificates, & photos
- Muzzle, leash, & collar
- Medication & medical records
- Travel bag, carrier, kennel

Anything that your pets normally need should be included in their emergency kit! Make sure think about how you will get them out if you need to evacuate, where you will go with them, how you will travel with them, etc.

June is National Microchipping Month! 🐾

Microchipping your pet is so very important! 1 in 3 family pets will get lost in their lifetime! Family pets are much more likely to be returned safely home if they are microchipped!

Microchipping is quick, easy, affordable & safe and can be done during a regular vet visit! Make sure to ask your regular vet about microchipping!

If you are considering getting a new cat, or any new pets, please consider your local shelters and rescue organizations! & Make sure to give your cats a hug tonight to show them you love them... they probably won't like it, but do it anyway! 😅

Hi Pup Parents!

My name is Ashley Gaskins. This page started in 2023 by myself and my spouse, Matthew McCall, as '2 Bad Pups' - an online pet supply store.
