We are expected, from the time we are born, to assume a certain amount of roles and live a certain way. We go to school, graduate; go to college, graduate; get a job, retire, etc……

Everyone make sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, April 9. The biannual Coffee Night is taking place in Cantrell Banquet Hall at 6:30 p.m.! The Spring edition of Jimson W**d will be making its first appearance, and current Managing Editor Damean Mathews will be passing the torch on to his successor! It is sure to be an awesomely entertaining night, so make plans to come hear good work being presented and enjoy a cup of coffee to set the mood!

Greetings everyone! We are about to enter our final stages of pre-production on the spring issue! Our Coffee Night date is set for April 9 as of right now, so mark your calendars and get ready to come out and enjoy great story tellers and great coffee! And feel free to continue to submit your work to be considered for our next issue.

Alright readers and editors. I do apologize for the confusion here, but the weather has thrown us through a loop. We have extended our submission date for a final time. We will now accept any and all submissions for the Spring edition until March 4th! Please spread the word as far and wide as you can and submit your masterpieces to me at [email protected]!

Just as a reminder on this most epic of holidays, I have been featured in a very awesome Halloween collection of shorts and I would love for everyone to get it and let me know what you think. Below are links for both a paid and free version of the collection (the free one is in PDF format) and I would love it if everyone would get it, share it and read at least my story (because I want you all to love it) and let everyone know about it.
