OTT GETS SILVER!!! Walker Ott wrestled hard, but came up just short as he falls on a 9-7 decision in the championship match. Walker finishes his season with a record of 39-8 and a second place finish at state. Congratulations Walker

POPPE WINS 5TH!!!! Keegan Poppe wins by major decision 10-0 in his fifth place match. This is his first medal. "It's a dream come true. Been looking forward to it since I was little," said Poppe. Congratulations Keegan!!!

Day 3 Boys State Wrestling Update: Keegan Poppe lost his match this morning which means he will wrestle in the 5th/6th place match.

2 GATORS WILL GO FOR MEDALS TOMORROW. End of day 2 at the boys state wrestling tournament and the Gators have two going for medals tomorrow (Saturday). Walker Ott solidified his place in the championship match tomorrow afternoon with a 4-0 decision victory. Keegan Poppe came up short in his match falling 8-1. Poppe will wrestle tomorrow morning to determine if he will wrestle in the 3rd place or 5th place match. Logan Nelson's season has come to an end. Nelson lost his match in the heartbreak round. He finishes his season with a record of 38-7. Great season Logan.

IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE BOYS STATE WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS. Semifinals and heartbreak rounds tonight. Walker Ott and Keegan Poppe are in the semifinals and Logan Nelson is in the heartbreak round. Go Gators! LETS WRESTLE!!!!

Day 2 Boys Wrestling Update: Logan Nelson won his first match in the second round of consolation matches this morning. He will wrestle in the heartbreak round tonight at 6pm. Keegan Poppe and Walker Ott will also wrestle their semifinal matches at that time as well.
