Despite every curveball the market and the world have thrown our way lately, this market is holding incredibly strong.

Let’s be real—yes, the numbers on the screen might be a tick cheaper than the record-shattering peaks we’ve seen, but let’s look at the bigger picture: we are still trading cattle at historically high, highly profitable levels.

A prime example of that strength was the exceptional demand we saw for heifers this week. The bidding was fierce, driven by a noticeable push for replacement retention. Yes, you heard that right—despite the costs, some folks are actually starting to hold back heifers of their own or aggressively buying top-quality girls to put back out in the pasture. That kind of reinvestment says a lot about the long-term confidence in this business.

More importantly, these prices across the board are delivering exactly what matters most. They are giving our hard-working local producers a real shot to do more than just tread water. This is the kind of market that lets a family get ahead a little bit. It’s the kind of market that helps pay down a chunk of principal on that land note, chip away at the tractor payment, or build a little cushion for the future.

At the end of the day, seeing the reward for your year-round sweat equity and dedication is exactly why we open the gates every single week. We are proud to stand in the gap for our producers, and we truly appreciate the trust you place in us to market your cattle!

Sunday Night Devotional:
Preparing the Ground for Monday

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts..."
— Colossians 3:15

Sunday evening has a feeling all its own. The weekend is drawing to a close, the house is finally quiet, and if we aren't careful, the mental checklist for Monday morning can start crowding out our peace before the sun even comes up.

It’s easy to let Sunday night turn into a time of wrestling with tomorrow's anxieties. We start thinking about the long to-do lists, the miles to drive, the phone calls to make, and the unexpected fires we might have to put out.

But just like a good rancher prepares the ground before planting, or a crew readies the pens before a big sale, Sunday night is meant for preparation—not just for our schedules, but for our souls.
True preparation doesn't mean having every single detail figured out. It means deciding right now, before the alarm goes off, who we are trusting with the week ahead. When we consciously hand Monday over to the Lord on Sunday night, we trade our anxiety for His peace. Every step we take this week—from the first phone call tomorrow morning to the final gavel on Friday—is a step we take under His guidance.

We can sleep soundly tonight knowing that the God who sustained us through last week is already standing in the days to come, laying the groundwork for another great week of business and fellowship.

So, put down the checklist, take a deep breath, and let your mind rest. The trucks will run tomorrow, the work will get done, and the Lord will provide exactly what we need for each day as we push toward another awesome sale day this Friday.

Heavenly Father, God, as we look toward the start of a brand new week, we hand it over to You. Quiet our minds tonight and give us restful sleep. Remove any worry about tomorrow, and help us step into Monday morning with clear vision, a steady heart, and the confidence that You are leading the way. Thank you for your grace, mercy, and love. Thank you for all of the blessings, both counted and unknown. Go with us and guide us now. Guide our steps all week long as we prepare for Friday’s sale.

We truly cannot say THANK YOU enough for choosing to partner with us and trusting us to market your cattle.

Today, we sold 734 head, and that number represents so much more than cattle crossing the auction block. It represents the hard work of ranchers and producers, the confidence of our buyers, and the dedication of an incredible team working behind the scenes to make it all happen.
