There are a lot of camera apps available for your mobile devices. I have tried a few that I believe to be interesting and have had decent results and marginal improvements in the photos. I have to say the new Leica LUX app is very impressive. You can definitely see the work that the developers have done to model their lenses and create an image that shares a lot of the characteristics of their lenses and color processing.
I am using the free version mainly because the paid version is pretty expensive, but I guess that follows for the Leica brand and their customers. Customers who prioritize image quality and investment in that is something they are comfortable with.
Here are two snapshots taken with my iPhone 15 Pro. The first is the camera phone and the second is with the Leica app and the settings used. Let me know your thoughts on this tech and if you think you’d use it or not.

Have a S35 sensor and would like to utilize the field of view of full frame? This might be an option for you. I have a Kipon adapter to use medium format lenses on a full frame camera and have to say it’s very impressive.
No doubt this will meet the same standards in optics.

Now that RED has been purchased by Nikon. Is there a chance Nikon will allow the use of R3d by other manufacturers? I can only hope.
My concern for current RED owners is they don’t scrap the RF mount. Too many new lenses have been released utilizing the RF introduction of the Z mount will only muck things up.
