⚠️ PARENTS — CHECK YOUR KIDS’ SQUISHY TOYS! ⚠️

Another popular squishy toy has been recalled, this time involving Rainbow Mystery Squishy Bun Toys.

The toys contain water beads that can expand if swallowed, creating a serious risk of choking or intestinal blockage. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says ingestion could result in severe illness and potentially death. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported with this particular recall.

🔎 What to look for:
• A translucent green squishy with glitter and water beads inside
• A cartoon face
• Comes in a tan container resembling a bamboo steamer
• Packaging says “RAINBOW MYSTERY” and “SUGAR EDITION”

The recalled toys were sold at various third-party stores nationwide from June through July 2026.

👉 If you have one, stop using it immediately and keep it away from children. The recall provides instructions for disposing of the toy and obtaining a refund.

Sharing because these little squishy toys seem to be everywhere right now. Please pass this along to other parents and grandparents who might have one at home!

Maureen and I attended our first Cicero–Plank Road Chamber of Commerce gathering today, and we really enjoyed getting involved and meeting more people from the local business community!

We had the opportunity to hear from the Cicero Police Chief and learn more about what’s happening in the community. It was great putting faces to names, making some new connections, and getting a better feel for everything the Chamber does locally.

As The American Dream Team at Howard Hanna, Maureen and I are looking forward to becoming more involved in the Cicero community and building relationships with the people and businesses that make this area such a great place to live and work.
