Happy Valentine’s Day from SelfReliantPress! ❤️🔥

We're excited about the next stage of cover design for Memories of an Ash Covered Sky, coming soon—hopefully in April! The latest version has some promising updates, including an increase in flames for a more dramatic effect. Still refining details, especially the young woman's appearance and something about the eye that isn't quite clicking yet. But overall, we're getting closer! Stay tuned for more updates.

Have to love small businesses and book shops like Rebel Heart.

Rebel Heart Books, like so many other small businesses, was closed the last 3 days.

During that time, we received a message from a beloved someone who said that she and her husband would be in soon to order books. It was a beautiful reminder of the relationships that develop in small businesses and that those who support small businesses understand that being closed has consequences for the business, the employees, the owner and the community.

When it’s safe outside for you to drive or walk, please do what you can to support small businesses in force.

We take the responsibility for the safety of our employees and community seriously and that means that small businesses likely took a significant financial hit over the last few days in a season that’s already tough. Many small businesses, despite all appearances, are just hanging on.

Let’s take care of each other out there. It’s the way forward.
