The final hurrah for our current judo situation has arrived. While the competition days might be winding down, a new path is opening up with Notorious MMA and Coach Fiona. They're diving into 3 days a week there, plus 2 days at Red Nose, embracing intense training and wrestling. It's a big commitment, but they're loving every moment.

Watching our boys wrestle, we saw a stark contrast in sportsmanship. While some kids reacted with frustration and unsportsmanlike conduct after a tough match, our own boys, despite tough losses, showed incredible respect. It's in those moments of defeat that character truly shines.

It was a tough but emotional decision to move the boys from Judo and Jujitsu. We've transitioned them to Notorious MMA with the amazing Coach Fiona, who's been a rock. They've already had their first private session and wrestling class, navigating a bit of schedule chaos due to a leak at their old spot.

The school is only giving out two tickets per family for the spring concert, and people are upset! Plus, summer plans are up in the air as 6 Flags is in transition with new rides being built, but some popular attractions were closed last year.

Ever wondered how judo tournaments differ from BJJ? In judo, the goal is an 'ippon' – a clean throw landing the opponent on their back. A 'wazari' is a half-point score. If the throw isn't clean, or the opponent lands on their belly, you might restart.
