I run the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on Wednesdays, 3-7pm, Mid-May through September. The market brings the community farm-fresh food products and also brings traffic in support of Downtown Mount Airy Merchants. We love the merchants downtown and hope you do too! This funding could potentially help Main Street Merchants recover from the economic downturn!

In case you missed it, tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, is the opening day of the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market!
We will be in the railyard in Downtown Mount Airy this Wednesday and every Wednesday, June through September, 3-7pm.

Masks/Face Coverings are required to enter the market. For those who are seniors or who are immunocompromised, please come early, 3:00 - 3:30 pm.

Below you will find the vendors and the products for preorder. Some may take preorders by NLT 10am tomorrow morning. We're getting used to the new model. Please contact the vendors directly at the phone number listed or through their websites.

Happy Monday, Mount Airy! Here's the scoop on The New Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' market, CSA Edition, that kicking off this Wednesday, June 3, 3-7pm in the Railyard at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy! Preorder & Pick-up Curbside!

Starting this year, you may preorder from our vendors at the market and come pick up your packages. If you need to get those last minute items from the market, we'll allow shopping, 10 patrons at a time on each side of the market. Remember to wear facial coverings (beyond beards) and practice social distancing! If you forget your mask, we have them at the market for a donation.

Vendors this Wednesday are: Five Points Farm Market and Greenhouse LLC, Whispering Breeze Farm . The Dough Whisperer . Mommy Magic Cakes . PIZZA LLAMA . The Caramel Kettle Gourmet Popcorn

When enacted, SB286- Crimes Against Livestock - will help keep horses, sheep, cows and other livestock safe. Keeping irresponsible actors from needlessly tampering with animals will protect the animals, as well as the public from repercussions. Thank you Maryland Farm Bureau , Maryland Horse Council , Senator Michael Hough and Dr. Michele Guyton, MD State House of Delegates District 42B for working so hard to get this passed!
