For those of you that haven’t read this book, take the time to look in to it. I have a hard time reading so I like to listen when I drive. This one hit me in the head. Such a fascinating man. A genuine man. He stood up for those that needed. The ones he chose to love, he loved fiercely. I highly recommend. Did you read it? What are your thoughts?

In the bright glow of our kitchen, a simple video captures more than just my daughter and I baking cookies; it's a precious chapter in the story of me and one of my little girls, baking utensils strewn about, laughter filling the air, and the feeling of home lingering around us. These times are the delicate moments we have that build up to equal our lives , fleeting and irreplaceable. As we mingled in the kitchen waiting for the oven to heat up, I was reminded that these are the real things in life to hold onto, the connecting moments we have with those we love, the experiences that are the seasons of our lives. I urge you to remember to seize these unique opportunities, to create memories yourself out of the mundane, to make reasons to say “I love you”, and to cherish the warmth and solace of the togetherness you have. These are the moments that truly nourish the soul.
