*Lesson 12 — "Please show Me Your Glory*

God desired to be with His people. He dwelt among them in the tabernacle within the camp. He also met with Moses from time to time in the tent of meeting outside the camp (Exod. 33:11).

Moses had been with God for many decades. Therefore, he had had several meetings with God. It is therefore instructive that Moses desired to be shown His (God's) way that he may know him (Exod. 33:13).

When Moses asked to see God's glory, God promised to show him His character, i.e., His goodness (Exod. 33:18-23). Moses worshipped God when he received the explanation of His name (Exod. 34:6-8).

Moses' face shone after this meeting with God (Exod. 34:29-35). The lesson posits that "...... he completely opened himself to God because of the beauty of His character, that Moses was transformed, and his face shone."
