So we have been on the fence recently about if we were going to continue selling freeze dried candy. The machine break down paired with this economy really put us in a bind so we took a while to really decide our next steps. It hasn't been easy.
If you have been here since the beginning, we have talked about how when we originally set to do this, we were exclusively going to sell online and through Tiktok shop. My husband and I prior to this fell into content creation by accident and have a following on Facebook and Tiktok. We just talk about our lives and make fun videos, so that was just a natural next step for us to do something online based.
But the way NJ laws are set up around food based companies, we had to pivot pretty quickly because selling online isn't an option. We debated going commercial and opening a store, but we also didn't want to be locked into a store schedule while raising kids who are still in school. So what do we do? We do events, parties, and sell through our social media locally. That's why I am at so many events and keep my schedule as full as I can.
We have learned that people truly enjoy our candy, and love being able to find us at different events. We had people wait until we were back up and running to restock. I can't tell you how much that means to us. The support we receive is truly amazing.
Anyhoo, we have officially decided to continue to sell freeze dried candy, but we will be renewing our permit to add in some new unique items that we just don't see anyone else doing. If there is something you want to see, let us know, but there is still a lot of things we won't be able to do...
So that leads me to say this. In addition to All About The Freeze, my husband has started a 3d print business, and I have been working on something new that I will be sharing very soon π
