One of the most interesting and impactful books I’ve ever read is “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership”. That book changed my life when I learned about The Law of The Lid and helped me to navigate my career and develop myself as a Leader and Senior Manager at Northrop Grumman (I retired in March 2025). I don’t put ceilings on my life goals. I go as high as my dreams and goals take me and I learn and apply the necessary skills to reach my goals. And I truly feel like I’m in a spaceship 🚀 when I’m in my studio, taking off to the furthest galaxy. I’ve always been a very optimistic person and at my age, I’m not going to start putting a lid on what I am able to accomplish 🚀.

No matter what space you’re competing in with other people in the same space, you really don’t need to tear any of them down, beef with them, fight with them, or be like 🦀🦀 in the 🛢️🛢️to get to the top. There’s truly enough room at the top for most of us to eat if “You” figure out how to network and navigate within that same space and outside of that space and do something unique or “YOUnique” that’s going cause your brand to standout amongst others in that space.
