✨ Today was a day steeped in history and color. ✨

I spent the day painting our Classic Civil War Barn Quilt set, a collection of blocks that carry the patterns and stories of a time when quilts were not just art, but messages of resilience, comfort, and hope.

Each block feels like a piece of living history, stitched once upon a time by hands that believed in legacy and community. Bringing them to life in Prairie Paints is such an honor… watching the bold shapes and earthy tones come together, one brushstroke at a time.

From stars to crosses, triangles to bold squares, these designs remind me that simple shapes, when joined together, tell the most powerful stories.
