Before the ⛈️ storm comes I had to go cut a few of these beauties and bring them inside…we transplanted them from our home in Provo 16 years ago and they have spread all through the trees. Hoping tonight’s snow doesn’t kill them all…but at least I had a moment to bring a few inside and enjoy them. Did you know Iris flower smell sweet like candy? I didn’t until this morning. Anyways…Happy Sunday wherever you are and hopes you find a way to bring some beauty into your day.

Two stars from the same pattern…yet each tells a different story. ✨

One painted in soft coastal blues of Sodus Point — like lake mornings, faded denim skies, and quiet farmhouse windows left open to the breeze.
The other in warm Honeycomb — golden, grounded, and glowing like candlelight across an old wood table.

That’s what I love most about the Amish Star design…
the same lines can hold entirely different moods depending on the colors chosen and the memories poured into each brushstroke.

Both painted by hand here in the studio with Prairie Paints and finished with layers of texture, warmth, and a little bit of prairie magic. 🤍

We’re in New York this week
back to the hills, the fields, the place I call home.
This stretch of dirt has held so many seasons…
childhood summers, walk in the woods, and the beginnings of so many dreams.

There’s something about coming home
that steadies everything.
Like the land remembers you…
and gently reminds you who you are.

Introducing Wings Over the Meadow 🌿

This new barn quilt design was inspired by that feeling of gentle movement…
of being grounded and free at the same time.

Each point reaches outward like a path,
each layer like feathers in flight….
held together by a still center.

It’s a reminder that even in seasons of change,
we are always held by where we began.
