It’s called the , and here’s the story:

In 1964, two men were fighting over the same stool at the bar. The victor had a heart attack in the chair, and — 30 days later — so did the second man. Both men died.

In 1980, a third man had a heart attack in the same chair.

Today, the “death seat” is roped off (to make sure others don’t meet the same fate), but a “Death Seat Burger” (a deep-fried burger stuffed with jalapeño mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, mac & cheese bites and an onion ring) is on specials once a month — and staff claim ghost turn on and off TVs, lights and the beer gas valve all the time.

Her name is Jessica, and her cozy café is called .

Named after the classic French way to fold a crêpe (as well as her three kids, and the idea that people need a third space in their lives besides home and work), the adorable passion project strives to be a place where people can enjoy warm sips and bites while building community and friendships.
