Goodbye Halloween 2025. Not my best work, but here are some pics for the haunt display. I simply didn’t have time this year to do a complete walkthrough which I was bummed about. But even with that shortcoming I still had a lot of grateful people who came out to the display. So THANK YOU to all who supported this! When it comes to the future of haunt displays, I won’t lie it is uncertain. But do not fear I still plan to make videos to bring entertainment to you all. My one piece of advice: don’t be in a rush to grow up, let your inner childhood imagination run wild for as long as you can!

Staying true to vintage vibes, I bought myself an old incandescent green spotlight to shine on these two. It was nice when it got cold out too, because I just huddled around that bulb to keep warm. I got too close and ended up burn my hand tho. Hopefully I don’t trip the circuit breaker 🤞🤞

The latest theme brought to the haunt; the Haunted Hotel. Basically just a condensed version of the 2016 Spirit Halloween ISE. The main attraction to this display is the hotel sign itself. The idea for a hotel theme came to me when this display pieces came up on OfferUp. It was my dad who came up with the idea and executed it to actually mount the hotel sign on the roof of the house. Honestly it was a great idea because I’m very happy with how it all looks. A definite upgrade from last year, but still room for improvement!

The Apache Acres Farm this season is a combination of smaller co-existing themes. Mainly the farm itself, chop shop, and graveyard (including solely for the purpose to make Hellspawn’s saying make sense). Overall, it was a solid theme. But I believe there is definitely room for improvements. I would like to improve the spotlighting in areas to make the props jump out at you a little more. I found that a vast majority of the scenes here were washed out in red. Which works for some sections but not all. I think I liked last year’s layout more as well. But this year had some set design improvements as well. So hopefully next year I can combine the two.

The CarnEvil was truly built up this year, basically doubled in its size with new animatronic additions (old and new). Still want to make it feel more immersive for next year, but with the additions purchased from the Spirit ISE this year, I think this theme will achieve that goal of mine next year. I really want it to be like a sideshow sort of deal that’s on a boardwalk.
