senior scientist Malcolm Scully says that seasonal low-oxygen areas aren’t usually a major concern, but as the ocean warms, the increasing incidence of algal blooms is making it harder for fish and crustaceans to survive in places like Cape Cod Bay.

With just five guests and one journalist, this nearly private tour happens on a 35-foot fishing boat. But the only thing they’ll be fishing for is an eyeful of a feared and fascinating ocean predator: the great white shark.
