When a trip brings you even closer — to the shimmer of the trees, the breath, the field unfolding around you.

In this excerpt from the Circle of Celebration interviews, Laraaji (with Arji OceAnanda and Christopher Bono of NOUS) reflects on how intentional psychedelic and cannabis experiences shift our relationship with vibration, space, and awareness.

Not a departure — a deeper arrival.

🎙️ Full of insight, reverence, and vibrational wisdom.

No studio. No plan. Just a cabin above the fjord, bathed in midnight sun.

This is where Gabbarein came to life. Improvised songs, sacred silence, and a white reindeer who appeared every day like a sign from another world.

They recorded in wool sweaters and candlelight, turned a living room into a sonic altar, and let nature shape every note.

These images are fragments of that retreat — moments of stillness, transformation, and myth in motion.

✨ Step inside the ritual. This is where the music begins.

The night unfolds in slow motion — light breathing, sound shimmering, thought dissolving.

This is a visual and sonic dreamscape — a place between movement and stillness, between color and sound.

What does night sound like to you? 💭

🖤 “But in the black I still feel a halo,
Relax and let your Soul return.” 🖤

Hayk Zakoyan’s new generative visual for Ghost Against Ghost’s Unarm is a rush of multicolor smoke, glitch, and breath - chaotic, luminous, and deeply emotional.

This is what release might look like.
Spirit dissolving through static.
Softness breaking through pressure.

🎧 Track: “Unarm” – from the Ghost Against Ghost album Still Love

🌀 Audio-reactive motion + generative design

If you’ve ever felt the need to unarm, to finally let go.... this one’s for you.

Sound and color invite you to pause.
Breathe in deeply. Let it make space for calm, a moment to relax.

The Fool’s journey didn’t just inspire Bardo - it shaped it.

When composer Christopher Bono began the album, he immersed himself in the Tarot - and used the Fool’s path as the structure for the first half of the piece.

It mirrors the archetypal descent:
🜁 A step into the unknown
🜃 The fall from grace
🜂 The collapse of illusion (The Tower)
☠️ A symbolic death by the end of Movement II

This is more than music - it’s a ritual in sound. A spiritual passage encoded in orchestral language.

💬 Which stage of the Fool’s journey do you relate to right now?

Gabbarein "Så Stille” moves between human and spirit - Cecilie’s presence woven into the white reindeer, a symbol of silence, strength, and myth. This union of motion and myth is the heartbeat of Gabbarein’s vision: where music, story, and image dissolve into one.

Light, motion, and sound — crossing between worlds.

Filmed in the studio, transformed into something otherworldly. A glimpse of the energy that flows between nature and technology, between hands and sound, between what we see and what we hear.

Breathe in calm. Exhale release. 🌬️✨
Om Shanti — the vibration of peace, balance, and stillness.

This chant moves through body, mind, and spirit — visualized here in generative light that flows with sound.
Let the rhythm slow you down, open your breath, and return you to the quiet within. 🌞🌙

Between who you were… and who you will become…

This is the Bardo.

A spiritual in-between. A moment suspended in grief, uncertainty, and potential.

Composer Christopher Bono created Bardo as a sonic ritual - a response to personal loss, and a meditation on what it means to move through endings toward something new.

Guided by the Tarot and Tibetan teachings on the afterlife, Bardo III reflects the moment after collapse - when the old self is gone, but the new self hasn’t yet arrived.

The result is a soundscape for transformation, for sitting with not-knowing, and for honoring the stillness before rebirth.

🎧 Best with headphones.

🔮 Let yourself drift through the in-between.

What happens when you run a human soul through a vintage CRT?

For “Son of Cessiphus”, generative artist Glass Void scanned real people in raw, expressive poses - mid-transcendence, mid-collapse - and reanimated their ghostlike forms as point clouds.

Then came the twist:

“animations were played back on a vintage 1980s CRT TV and filmed right from the screen, to add some analog distortions and glitches, giving it a dreamy, nostalgic vibe. This blend of modern and vintage techniques perfectly complements the otherworldly vibe of the band's sound. says Glass Void.

The result is a hybrid of old and new:
🔸 glitch-heavy and luminous
🔸 sacred and fractured
🔸 digital memory rendered in analog breath

All of it tethered to the monumental pace and haunted beauty of Ghost Against Ghost’s “Son of Cessiphus.”

Bardo began as a way for Christopher Bono to process the loss of a loved one - a spiritual and emotional journey through grief, death, and transformation.

From the very beginning, he sought out symbolic tools to help him shape that story. The Tarot was one of them.

As he studied the cards, he began to see how the Fool’s journey - through innocence, collapse, and eventual transcendence - could serve as a powerful framework.

“The cards present a view outside your habitual tendencies,” he says.

They gave him a new perspective - a way to see and express emotional truth through sound.

Movement by movement, Bardo took form: a requiem woven from personal loss, ancient symbolism, and a search for spiritual light.

🔮 Music made from mourning. Guided by Tarot. Rooted in intention.
