A closer look at the pedestrian impact of the Mill District! ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ

As part of the projectโ€™s infrastructure, a 10-foot wide multi-use path along Towne Lake Parkway will seamlessly connect surrounding neighborhoods into Woodstockโ€™s Greenprints Trail network.

This link provides direct trail access between Towne Lake Parkway, the Olde Rope Mill Trail corridor, and Main Street.

City of Woodstock, GA Council approved new aesthetic design plans for the bridge over I-575, along with resolution updates for local water and sewer fee schedules to support city infrastructure upkeep.

Woodstock City Council DENIES 'The Pitch' Soccer Stadium Proposal | Civic Update

A major decision out of Downtown Woodstock! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

After months of debate and two tablings, City of Woodstock, GA Council officially voted to DENY the rezoning and land-use permits for "The Pitch." The 12.8-acre proposal at Reagan Street and Ridgewalk Parkway included 236 multi-family rental units, retail space, and a semi-pro soccer stadium.

Following an Executive Session, Council returned to lock in the final denial, citing traffic impact and residential density along the Ridgewalk corridor.

Little River Park Opening Pushed to Spring 2027! ๐ŸŒณโณ
If you were expecting to walk the trails at the new 110-acre Little River Park this fall, the city's latest construction notices confirm that the official opening target has slipped to Spring!

Crews are currently working on rock clearing and blasting for the new Trickum Road roundabout entrance, alongside trail and pedestrian bridge work over Little River.

USA TODAY just ranked Woodstock #3 in the entire country for Best Place to Visit this Fall โ€” our very first year even being nominated! Thousands of people across the country voted, and out of 20 amazing cities, we made the top 3. That's downtown shops, Reformation Brewery, our art scene, our trails... and yep, our Scarecrow Invasion made the case too! ๐ŸŽƒ That's all of us. ๐Ÿ™Œ
