After a very long, exhausting, frustrating week. With personal and computer issues. The paper is finished and off to be printed. Should be on the website in the morning. This is my first time posting since taking over last September. I have had a very good friend pester me to make posts. So here I go. For those that don’t know me My name is April D**e I live in South Ryegate, VT. I was raised since I was 3 in the surrounding area. My dad Gary Scruton who is the original owner and started Trendy Times 15 almost 16 years ago. Has given me the reigns. I am a mom of 1 biologically. But have many unofficial kids. I am a home provider for a 76 year old man whom we have been together for going to 9 years. I also have another business through Athena’s Home Novelties. So enough about me. I would love to hear what you readers would like to see and read more about??? Tomorrow I will give you a sneak peek of the front page.

NOTICE! Haverhill Candidates Forum scheduled for today, March 4th at 1:00Pm has been CANCELLED. Of the 5 candidates running for Haverhill Select Board, 2 had previous long planned family plans. 1 had other plans, 1 found out they had been exposed to Covid. That left 1 candidate who felt that "last person standing" would be an unfair advantage. Efforts are being made to reschedule for March 11th. Trendy Times urges all voters to participate on March 14th and March 18th.
