Woke up to a burst hot waterline in the bathroom. Water was everywhere and fast! My husband was quick to shut off the water and we used every towel in the trailer to soak up the mess. After that our main ceiling and outdoor lights wouldn’t turn on. Everything else worked.
I don’t understand why all our wiring would be underneath the bathroom sink??
We checked each fuse outside the bathroom after spending time paper toweling all the cables under the sink. Ran the dehumidifier all morning. Replaced two fuses connected to the converter. Disconnected the trailer and reconnected. Now the converters fan will only start up for a few seconds at a time beep twice then stop. The control panel has no lights now. None of the buttons work. We can run the dehumidifier and space heaters still. Keeping everything else off for now to not put any extra stress on the converter while it dries.
Hoping the water didn’t damage the converter permanently. Google said to keep our trailer disconnected overnight to let it dry properly. I don’t think that’s a good idea with it being -15. 😅
Not a great day. Would love some advice or just good vibes! 🙂 We’re exhausted. Trying to stay calm but nervous about frozen water lines and only being connected to our battery for the night. ChatGPT and google helped navigate most of this mess. Has anything similar happened to anyone else on this page? Thanks! No rude comments please 🙂
