STIR Magazine

STIR Magazine Clark's Arts, Style & Culture Magazine! In 2006 Diana Levine, then a Clark senior, began STIR magazine as a capstone project. Follow us on Twitter!

Since then, it has developed into Clark’s student-run arts, style and culture magazine. STIR lets you know what Clarkies are thinking, doing, eating, breathing, seeing and liking (on Facebook and otherwise) whether it concerns the food in the Dining Hall or whatever that Obama guy is up to nowadays. And in full-color, the pictures aren’t too shabby either. The full color glossy magazine comes out at the end of each semester and costs less than $5! https://twitter.com/STIRMagClarkU

Hi all! After much discussion among the e-board, we would like to make an announcement...This semester, STIR would like to open itself up to outside submissions. While we've always been a club that is about constant participation and building a community, we believe we have an opportunity this semester to accept submissions from non-members as well. Given the current political and social climate, we believe that people may be producing artistic works (non-fiction writing, poetry, art and photography) in reaction to this moment, with nowhere to publish it. We want members of the Clark community to have a chance to channel their creative ideas and have it published.

So, we will be accepting submissions from non-STIR members this semester! Creative works can be sent to [email protected] before April 1st, to ensure they can be looked over in time for the layout process. If you have any questions, feel free to also email the address above so that e-board members can answer any of your questions. Thank you!
