The City of Worcester, Massachusetts recently launched a new Legacy Business Program, giving *all* of us a chance to recognize the longtime local businesses that have helped shape our neighborhoods for decades. 🧡

One of those Downtown businesses is Addie Lee's Soul Food, located right on Main Street.

Founded by Worcester native, U.S. Army veteran, and chef Rob Evans, Addie Lee’s was created to bring soul food to a city that needed it. The state has transferred the deed [for the old RMV at 611 Main Street] to the Worcester Redevelopment Authority, which expects to issue a request for proposals to redevelop the property later this year

The state has failed to find a buyer for the property since the RMV moved out in 2022.
