Big changes!

We have said goodbye to the 5th floor studio and have become a remote first company!

While we loved the space and will miss it, almost all our shoots are on location with the client and most clients prefer video conference meetings. Ultimately it didn’t make sense to keep the space.

Becoming a remote first company is a big step toward our vision of scaling bold new Story Growth Partnership offerings and recruiting from a nationwide pool of talent and we’re off to a strong start.

Onward and upward!

We partnered with Artists for Humanity, who had teamed up with Reebok, to help give young artists an opportunity to create custom sneaker designs. It was a really unique and exciting project! This video played at their “Greatest Party on Earth” fundraiser (that really lived up to the name) and was instrumental in raising over $100,000 just that night to further invest in young artists and their futures.

Don’t let the size fool you. The MPC One packs a lot of features and workflow tools into ONE powerful punch to take your ideas from concept to finalized radio-ready beats. Akai Professional partnered with us to create this short commercial looking to depict the product being played at home while mirroring the quality of a professional studio environment. We added our own flare to the edit in a way that felt appropriate to the DIY upbeat vibe. The video received solid feedback and was a fun addition to our portfolio.

“Mi Casa” follows the individuals of Reco-Rico, an organization committed to helping people reconnect with Puerto Rico in a meaningful way. This is the pilot episode, which we shot using minimal crew and gear on a shoestring budget. It’s still being developed, but the vision is that each episode will follow a different influencer, artist, or traveler helping breathe life back into the country following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017. We hope that this series will be a part of helping Puerto Rico flourish again.
