As the 2025 General Session convenes on January 14, we want to take a moment to thank Senator Ed Cooper and Representative Martha Lawley for their dedication and service to Washakie County.

We know the legislative work requires countless hours and significant time away from family, and we deeply appreciate their commitment!

Thank you!

BREAKING 🚨A federal court in Kentucky issued a decision in State of Tennessee v. Cardona that blocks the Biden admin's unlawful redefinition of 's*x' in Title IX nationwide.

As stated by the court: β€œ[W]hen Title IX is viewed in its entirety, it is abundantly clear that discrimination on the basis of s*x means discrimination on the basis of being a male or female."

This is a huge win for women and girls across the nation, including our client who has already suffered harassment by a male student in the locker room and on her sports team.

The U.S. Supreme Court can further protect girls like our client by granting cases brought by the ACLU against WV and ID laws that protect women’s sports.
