We have been notified that Ray Marler has passed away. Please pray for comfort for his family and his wife Sue at this time. Ray’s contributions to the racing community cannot be measured. He never met a stranger and loved sharing old racing stories. We will all miss him greatly.

I am heartbroken to hear this morning that Ray Marler— our recently retired I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park promoter, a friend, and the grandfather of two of our HMEM drivers — has passed away.

Please keep our good friends and our Team HMEM drivers in your prayers during this difficult time 🥺

Ray was such a wonderful promoter and an even better person. He always made it a point to stop and say hi to me at every race, no matter how busy things were. His kindness never went unnoticed.

Their family truly has the purest hearts, and I am honored to have been able to work alongside them over the past few years. 💜
