It’s been a bittersweet day at L*D. Phoenix finally made it back home to her permanent resting place with us, where her short, but incredible life will be honored forever. Rest in peace and fly high our sweet beloved Phe Phe🐦‍🔥 🌈 🪽🪽🪽🖤

It is with an incredibly sad heart we announce that our sweet Phoenix has crossed over the rainbow bridge. In the early morning hours of 9/10 our girls surprised a predator and Phe succumbed to her injuries. Zeta also suffered severe wounds and when I found them at 5:30 am she was rushed to the emergency vet. We were able to save Zeta and she is on the road to recovery after a few breath holding days. The vet has confirmed these are big cat wounds, deep lacerations, not puncture wounds from a canine bite. The vet also confirmed that mountain lions and bobcats are prevalent in the area.
Phoenix has a legacy of incredible pups all over the USA and we will always hold them deep in our hearts. If you have one of her pups know you have something truly special. I have no doubt my Girls gave that cat absolute hell! Valhalla!
