Today…today I had the privilege to speak to a group of new guitar students at the local Junior High School.
What a great experience!!!
We talked about the basics…what makes a guitar “good”, maintenance pointers, the importance of a good set up and how those things can lead to a better experience learning the instrument. If it is set up well and maintained, it will add to their enjoyment and inspire them to want to play more.
I would like to thank Matt Cooper for a couple of things. First, thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to the kids. Secondly, thank you for what you are doing. I can’t tell you how awesome I think it is that you teach guitar in a public school environment and have such great connections with your students. Keep it up sir!!
Hopefully they will at least remember one thing an old man babbled about. 🤣
