Hi, I’m Mimy 🤍
Welcome to my Mexican Mom Diaries 🇲🇽
I don’t really know the perfect way to introduce this… so I’ll just be honest.
I moved from Mexico when I was 14.
Just a girl trying to adjust to a new country, a new language, and a completely new life. Growing up, I learned how to adapt… how to start over… how to find myself in unfamiliar places.
Before becoming a mom, I was a bartender.
Long nights, fast pace, always around people, always in motion. It was a whole different version of me busy, social, and constantly on the go.
And now… my life looks completely different again.
I’m a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful 1-year-old, living in a new town, learning how to navigate motherhood while also rediscovering myself in a quieter, slower world.
Some days feel full of love in the simplest ways…
baby laughs, morning light, little routines that make everything feel meaningful.
And some days feel heavy in a way that’s hard to explain…
like I’ve spent my life starting over in different ways, and I’m still learning where I truly belong.
Motherhood has given me more love than I ever thought I’d know.
But it has also brought reflection… on identity, loneliness, change, and becoming someone new again.
I started this page because I needed a place for all of that.
A diary for the thoughts I don’t always say out loud.
The memories of who I was, the reality of who I am now, and everything I’m still becoming.
If you’re a mom, if you’ve had to start over, if you’ve ever felt in between versions of yourself…
I hope you feel seen here 🤍
You’re not alone.
We’re all just finding our way home to ourselves… one season at a time.
