Little girl and her 16-foot python have been best friends since they were both SO little and tiny 🐍💛

This really warms my heart and makes me grateful that there are parents that teach children AND animals to be gentle and respectful to each other. They have such a sweet bond, Cher is licking her face and hair, they are cuddling, playing together. I’m glad he doesn’t let her feed the snake until she’s older and I’m glad she didn’t have a bad reaction to him saying no. That is a good bond between all of them. Very proud for all three ❤️

Before anything, massive kudos to this man for being an incredible pet owner and parent. While this is a super touching video and I absolutely adore snakes, it doesn’t always go this way. Far too many people who have no business owning these creatures do and I’m sure just as many have children in the house. Not saying this to deter anyone from keeping snakes, they can be wonderful pets but you have to understand this man has put A LOT of work into socializing this Python and that alone isn’t easy.

There is a balance between handling, socializing and stressing a snake out. I’m no biologist but as a keeper everything he has said in this video is textbook how to raise a snake. Hard work? Absolutely but look at the end result. He has given that snake a wonderful life where it can thrive and most importantly his daughter experiences most children will never have. I’m sure this has taught her to be kind and respectful of things beyond her years. Beautiful all around.

Adorable Baby Elephant Saved from Pit and Reunited with Loving Mother!

Hello guys, welcome back to the elephant zone.
This time, our brave team is assigned to save an adorable young elephant who has unfortunately fallen into a water hole. The mission was carried out with care, confidence, and kindness.
It was a beautiful and calm morning, and the wildlife conservation officers were encouraged with determination and affection, ready to save any animal in trouble.

That is when the wildlife conservation officials received an urgent call from a clay brick cutter who was on his way to start his daily work.
The caller explained that there is a herd of elephants gathered around the waterhole he has been using to get water for his clay brick cutting tasks.
The entire elephant herd gathered around the hole. The baby elephant's cries rang quietly from below, a painful reminder of its situation.
Knowing the need for urgent help, the wildlife conservation officials rushed to the location immediately.

The herd had already moved away from the place when the wildlife conservation officials arrived. Yet they are roaming around to protect their baby.
Since this is a baby elephant, the officials tried to pull it out with its legs at first, but it was not a useful attempt. But they are not ready to give so, they started pulling the elephant with its legs while another officer got into the muddy water to push the elephant from the back. That was a caring action. These officials are ready to take any risk to save these innocent lives.

The rest of the elephant herd, who have been roaming around the forest, tries to attack the officials in fear of their baby being harmed by the officers. So, this was a really challenging mission carried out while one team of officials rescued the baby and another team of officials tried to calm the rest of the herd of elephants.

We apologize for the poor video quality, which was captured on a phone during the rescue, but we believe it still conveys the care, urgency, and sincerity that went into saving the baby elephant.
It is revealed that a large herd of elephants entered the village yesterday night and raided its agricultural crops. They crushed and destroyed crops. And when they were on their way returning to the forest, this unlucky elephant may have encountered an unforeseen disaster.
The rescue procedure was careful and accurate. These officials worked tirelessly under the rising sun. They were driven by the same goal: to save the little life trapped baby elephant.

With the great determination of these wildlife conservation officials, the baby elephant exited the water hole.
That doesn’t end there, the officials had to spend a few more hours to navigate the baby to the herd.
With the immature ideas of these baby elephants, similar to human babies, they are still unable to make decisions on their own, so the officials were patient enough to bring the baby to its mother. Any of these actions are carried out not to harm the elephant but to save it from future harm.
The baby follows the vehicle, thinking that it is his mother.

This was an unexpected incident that occurred when they were walking around. There is no human intervention in the accident. However, the clay brick cutter was instructed to follow safety precautions when performing such tasks. Like building a fence around the water hole before using a water hole like this.

The baby was reunited with its mom.

It was just another day for the rescue team, until a call came in from a remote area near the edge of a protected jungle. Locals had spotted something heartbreaking — a baby elephant, no more than a year old, trapped helplessly in a deep mud pit.

When the team arrived, they were met with a gut-wrenching sight.

Half-submerged in thick, cold mud, the little elephant was trembling violently. Too exhausted to cry out, too scared to move. His tiny trunk twitched occasionally, his body caked in dirt and fear. But it was his eyes that shattered everyone’s composure. Wide, dark, and pleading — they told a silent story of panic, confusion, and pain.

“We didn’t hear the crying,” one rescuer said later. “But when we looked into those eyes, we saw everything. We saw fear. We saw helplessness. We saw hope, fading.”

Without hesitation, the rescue team began their desperate mission.

Ropes were tied. Hands sank into mud. Hours passed under the beating sun, knees deep in sludge, struggling to free a creature that had already given up. Some rescuers whispered reassurances. Others simply cried silently as they worked.

“At one point,” a team member recalled, “he closed his eyes and stopped moving. We thought… maybe it was too late.”

But they refused to let him go.

And finally — inch by inch — the mud gave way. With a united push, they pulled him out. He collapsed on his side, gasping, still shaking… but alive.

Heartbreaking! Mother Elephant SAVED from water hole, But her Baby Passed away before her eyes

Hello, our dear elephant lovers. Welcome back to another heartwarming, challenging, and life-saving rescue mission carried out to save a poor elephant mother.

This poor mother and her kid were first noticed by a villager who entered the forest to collect firewood. This was an unexpected and shocking incident for the poor villager.

He has noticed a huge elephant screaming for help and a dead baby elephant floating on the water, dead. So, he called the nearest wildlife conservation office quickly. The caller explained the incident in an urgent and frightened voice.
Of course, the death of a baby elephant was an unexpected and heartbreaking sight for the poor villagers. Even though they often face challenges due to these elephants, they always do their best to protect and care for these innocent creatures.

The wildlife conservation officials and the veterinary officials rushed to the location as soon as possible with the necessary equipment.
After inspecting the area, the officials decided that the inclined path could not be dug manually. So, they called an excavator to create an inclined path.

The path to the location was particularly challenging, needing the excavator driver to spend several exhausting hours traveling to arrive.
The elephants that have fallen into the well would have been among a herd of elephants that invaded the village a few nights ago.
It is predicted that the baby fell into the water at first, and then the mother elephant might have fallen into the well when trying to save her baby. That could have caused the disaster.

The officials took great effort to navigate this poor animal to the dug-in inclined path. Yet she is too exhausted to find her path.
The poor baby elephant who lost his life is about three months old; he might have struggled to drink his mother’s milk and breathe properly, which may have caused his untimely death.

This is simply another example of the elephant-human conflict. As the population grows, people begin to clear-cut forests and move into them, creating human settlements and starting agricultural spaces. As human activity develops, people begin to cultivate and create infrastructure, further reducing wildlife habitats. Under these conditions, wild elephants become trapped in tiny sections of space. Elephants roam into agricultural regions that were once their habitats due to limitations on their range and a decrease in their food and water sources.

This well is a long-ago-dug well which have been left aside after completing their agricultural tasks.
Now that the mother elephant has managed to reach out. Yet, the mother shows a very poor strength level, unable to reach out for very long.
Even though the act is not carried out to harm the poor animal, it is the farmer's responsibility to create a fence around the well or cover the well.
The mother has not had meals for days, and has had poor mental health issues because she lost her baby after suffering for days.
Of course, a baby is precious as the world to a mother. And this poor mother has seen her baby die right in front of her eyes. That kind of pain could affect not only the mother but the whole world, too. This young animal was a valuable addition to the world, and the emptiness left behind can never be filled.

Now that the mother is taken out of the well, she is sent to the forest. A ranger officer is assigned to monitor the progress of the elephant. The officials are always ready to treat the poor animal if there is any urgent need for treatment.
Yet the world is fortunate enough that we were able to save the mother elephant before a huge disaster occurred. This mother would play a major role in growing the generations.

There are awareness programs carried out throughout the area to educate people about the value of these innocent wild animals.
That has brought us to the end of the video.

Spotted over Christmas in the Kruger National Park...

This giraffe was spotted with huge nodules hanging from the skin. Quite a sight for unexpecting safari-goers 😯👀

This skin disease is caused by a Papilloma Virus. There are many types of papillomavirus, each affecting their own species. However it is believed it is the cow variation (Bovine Papilloma virus, or BPV) is affecting these giraffe. The same virus also infects horses to cause “sarcoids” 🦠🔬🐴

How is it spread ❓
This virus spreads through contact. In this instance it is assumed to be Oxpecker birds, landing on the giraffe and pecking at their naturally occurring parasites, are spreading the disease through from one animal to the other. In this instance the whole herd is totally normal apart from this 1 animal, as is the case when this disease has been spotted in the past.

What to do❓
Whilst it is not a life threatening disease, it no doubt causes discomfort when the lumps become as advanced as this. Many cases of bovine papillomavirus are self limiting, and can heal with the animal recovering completely. There is no treatment for this particular disease in giraffe, and wildlife vets are closely monitoting the situation.

Thankfully this version can’t be passed to people, although we have our own papilloma Human papilloma virus.👥

Mother leopard Olimba proves her ability as a skilled hunter as she stalks a troop of baboons.

The most remarkable thing which many have failed to notice earlier is the way the leopard tries to move keeping with the same pace as the elephants, but only in the opposite direction, so as to appear a still boulder or a contour.

The moment the elephants stop walking is the exact moment the leopard decides to halt as well! Now thats one hell of a brain.

In March 1953, during the Battle of Outpost Vegas, she made 51 trips in a single day, hauling more than 9,000 pounds of ammunition under constant enemy fire.

Marines later admitted: without her, hundreds of them might not have survived.

What made her remarkable was not just her strength, but her heart. She often traveled supply routes alone, memorizing paths across shell-torn hills.

She shielded Marines with her own body, was wounded twice, and kept moving. At night, she ate rations with the men — scrambled eggs, bacon, even coffee — and slept in their tents. To them, she wasn’t livestock. She was family.

In recognition of her service, she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and awarded two Purple Hearts, among other medals. After the war, she was brought to the United States, where she lived at Camp Pendleton.

Sergeant Reckless died peacefully in 1968 at the age of about 20. She was buried with full military honors, a tribute normally reserved for human heroes. Today, statues across America remember her, including one at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
