PNW family and friends, get the word out for the sake of quality wedding and event DJ experiences here in the area. I'm booking extensively for 2026 based on what I do, fast.
On the flip side, here in Washington, the public, vendors, and close friends have expressed deep concerns about the decline of their experiences hiring or attending an event with other DJs who don't MC or know how to MC. They talk to nice DJs but lack the talent or experience in handling a wedding, limping through or asking on the fly on what to do.
Literally, this year, in 2025, a DJ bought a laptop, a couple of nice speakers, and thought, 'I want to be a DJ.' But he didn't know how to run the order of events of the wedding, ultimately leaving the father of the bride upset to the point of saying, 'I will never recommend him; he ruined my daughter's wedding day!'
Ouch!
Like I said, nice guy, he meant well, but he lacked the experience or training to handle a wedding day. Remember, fam, there are no redos or try again tomorrow for wedding days.
