My journey through this world they call "Entrepreneurship" has been a BUMPY Ride...

2010: Graduate Penn State with a degree in Economics thinking I'll work on Wall Street. Pass my FINRA Series 6, 63, & 65. Studied for the 7 before deciding I hated selling finance products.

2011: Got a job selling cars at the beach so I could leave at the beach. Turns out to be the one thing that helped me under

stand how most business works (I just didn't know it at the time).

2011 - 2017: Bounced between 3 dealerships learning Sales, Finance, & Internet Marketing. It was here that I also learned marketing automation.

2017: I quit my job at the car dealership to start an app-based car rental company renting to Uber drivers. Think "AirBnB Superhost" but with rental cars. I also discovered affiliate marketing on the side.

2018: Quit messing around with affiliate marketing because the rental cars were scaling up fast. Jan 2020: Rental cars implode, business goes under. I have to figure out my next move with a 1yo daughter at home. My wife's job doesn't pay the bills by itself...

March 2020: I grow my following on TikTok while everyone else is watching Tiger King in lockdown. I did it by sharing what I knew about sales & marketing. Affiliate Marketing becomes my main focus again. March 2021: Partner up with a 7-Figure Entrepreneur (who I met through TikTok) and we launch a course from 0 to $1M in 100 Days organically. Nov 2022: Launch another course product (attached to software) that goes from $0 - $150k on launch weekend. Hit 200 software customers in 4 months. March 2024: Ended a few partnerships due to "creative differences." Re-Launched my software and showing people how I do it along the way. If you're a looking to reduce the noise and find a simpler business model, head to https://dombavaro.com/free to grab my playbook for creating a $100k/yr lifestyle business.

Why I Charge $27 for Something I Also Give Away Free šŸ‘‡

Every week someone says ā€œWhy would I pay when you’re giving it away free?ā€ The truth: both are true.

Free Guide: My faceless YouTube channel playbook is 100% free. Download it, follow it, and you’ll have everything you need.

$27 Upgrade: After you grab the guide, I offer a video version. It’s the same info — but you literally watch me click through step by step. That’s what you’re paying for: convenience.

Lesson for Marketers: People happily pay for speed and simplicity. It’s why Doordash exists, why audiobooks exist, and why upgrades sell.

Your Takeaway: Never withhold the value in your free thing. Just package the paid thing so it saves time, removes friction, or makes life easier.

Your first 100 videos are supposed to suck.

šŸ”„ Go back and watch the early content of any top creator you admire.

Their videos were awkward.
Their lighting was bad.
Their voice sounded unsure.
And their message? Probably all over the place.

🤯 Nobody knows what they’re doing in the beginning.

The people who win didn’t start better — they just didn’t stop.
They gave themselves permission to suck.
Over and over.

šŸŽÆ If you want to make money with content, start by dropping the belief that you need to be ready.

Read that again.

Clarity doesn’t come before ex*****on.
Confidence doesn't come before publishing.
You earn both by doing reps in public.

šŸ“ˆ Online income through content isn't magic — it's cause and effect.
Start messy, stay consistent, and watch what happens.

You should never build in silence. Ever.

🤯 The worst idea I see entrepreneurs still clinging to is this:
"I’m gonna launch in stealth mode."

That mindset might have worked in 2003.
But in 2024, it’s a guaranteed way to waste time, money, and momentum.

šŸ”„ Here’s a better play:
Start talking about your idea before you build anything.
Then document everything.
Sketches. Prototypes. Setbacks. Progress.

šŸš€ Why?
Because short-form content is free user testing with unlimited reach.
You’ll instantly know if people care.
And if they don’t — good. You just saved yourself six months of building the wrong thing.

šŸ’” Feedback isn't a luxury anymore. It’s built into the distribution.
Post your idea on social media and you’ll find signal before you write a single line of code.

Even better…
As you build in public, you attract the exact people your product is for.
Some will follow.
Some will comment.
The most aligned? They'll be your first customers when you launch.

šŸ‘„ And what about your idea getting ā€œstolenā€?
Let them try.
If you’ve been sharing the journey and actually building a brand…
Your audience won’t just know the product. They’ll know *you*.
No copycat can buy that kind of loyalty.

In 2024, silence kills momentum.
Document loudly. Build publicly.

That’s how you win.

Nobody wants to say it, so I will:
You're not getting a $100K job without a specialized skill.

🚫 And even if you have a skill, you're still playing lottery odds.
Thousands of applications. Minimal callbacks. Stagnant salaries.

I haven't had a "job" since 2020. But I’ve made well over $100K.
No resumes. No interviews. No glass ceilings.

šŸ”„ Here's how I did it:
I learned how to turn words into money.
Copywriting. Content creation. Psychological persuasion.
Not from college. Not from some MBA program.

I learned from YouTube, free content, and yes—paid online courses.
The same ones people write off as "scams."
Funny, right? They were my fastest path to profit.

šŸŽÆ Once I had the skill, I didn’t build my own brand immediately.
I started bringing customers to other people’s companies.
Affiliate marketing.

I let their product do the heavy lifting, while I focused on one thing:
Making content that speaks directly to people’s pain points.

šŸ’” Then I send people to a free course that teaches them how to use the software I'm recommending.
Not a hard sell. Pure value.
People watch the course, see how it solves their problem,
Then they buy—with my affiliate link.

And here’s the kicker:
The commissions are fat.
Most are recurring.
I earn monthly from sales I made 6–12 months ago.

šŸ“No experience required.
No overhead.
Just a willingness to learn a skill most people ignore.

You can keep applying for jobs…

Or build a system that makes money even when you're not working.

You’re losing money by only chasing home runs.

⚾ Everyone wants the big win.

In my world, that might be landing a $5,000–$10,000 client. Huge payday. Feels great. Lights up your Stripe notifications.

But that’s not what pays my bills.

šŸ’³ You know how your credit card gets wrecked from those ā€œsmallā€ purchases?

Five bucks here. Twenty bucks there. A few Uber Eats runs and a subscription or two...

Then suddenly you're staring down a $3K payment and wondering where it came from.

šŸ˜ Same logic applies in reverse… with commissions.

I’ve got hundreds of videos floating around the internet.

Each one links to a product I personally use and trust. Could be a $5 commission. Maybe $10. Maybe nothing for a few months.

But when they click, and buy, I get paid.

Again and again and again.

šŸ“ˆ Those little recurring commissions? They add up.

They pay my mortgage. Both cars. All the insurance. The family trip. Every single month.

And most of the heavy lifting happened once—when I hit publish.

You don’t need a viral launch or a $10K deal to get free.

You need content that compounds.

āœ‰ļø Want to see how I do it step-by-step?

AI can copy your style, but it can't replace your soul.

Most people are waiting on a job to save them.

šŸ“‰ But here’s the truth:
If you're relying on the job market to hand you a $100K+ income right now, you're playing a losing game.

Thousands of people are sending resumes into the void.
Even with a degree.
Even with skills.

It’s not enough.

šŸ“² Since 2020, I’ve made six figures every year—without a job.
No boss.
No corporate ladder.
Just one learned skill: content-driven persuasion.

I taught myself how to create social media content that drives action.
Not through college.
Through free YouTube videos and investing in a few solid paid courses.
Yes—those same courses Twitter loves to call scams.

šŸ’¼ That skill let me step into affiliate marketing as a freelancer.
Here’s the simple play:
- I make videos about a specific pain point
- I offer a free course showing how to fix it (featuring a software solution)
- People watch the course, get help, and buy through my link
- I earn commissions—often recurring

No cold calls.
No long sales pages.
No startup capital.

šŸ“ˆ The beauty is in the leverage.
Most people are out here begging for a paycheck.
I build simple video systems that sell for me while I sleep.

And I do it using skills anyone can learn—if they’re willing to stop making excuses and start making moves.

Want to build the same kind of leverage?
Pay attention to what I’m doing.

You don’t need to build AI—just solve real problems with it and sell the solution like hell.

05/17/2025

Running ads because you don’t want to create content is like hiring a lawyer to fight a battle you haven’t even shown up for.

šŸ”„ It’s not leverage — it’s laziness disguising itself as strategy.

šŸ’ø Most founders think paid traffic is the shortcut. But if you don’t already have compelling messaging, a real connection with your audience, and clarity about who actually buys what you sell... ads will punish you.

And they’re expensive. Brutally expensive.

If you’ve got $20k a month to burn while figuring out what works, go ahead.

But most of you don’t. You’re bootstrapping. You’re still validating the offer.

šŸŽÆ Here’s the smarter path: You, the founder, start posting content.

Not your business page. Not some recycled Pinterest quote.

You. Getting on camera. Sharing lessons. Showing your face. Building your thing in public.

Because people follow people — not logos.

🧠 This is how you build trust before the sale.

It’s how leads show up already warmed up and willing to pay premium prices.

It’s how you learn what your market actually wants before you go and pour money into distribution.

Yes, content takes time. Yes, it’s uncomfortable at first.

But growing a business with zero profit because your CAC is upside down? That’s a whole lot worse.

If you're always half-building and half-selling, you're doing a bad job at both.
