Live at 0000 UTC The Contest Crew is (finally) back— Christopher Hurlbut KL9A, Daniel Craig N6MJ, Randy Thompson K5ZD, and Bill Fehring W9KKN—your backstage pass to the minds and methods of ham radio’s top contesters.

Randy’s rebuilding his Ohio station (yes, there is a crane involved), Dan returned to N2QV remote while sneaking spa breaks when the bands crash, Chris is balancing wildfire prep with WRTC training, and Bill’s moving cross-country while shedding projects before a final CQP.

The main event: SO2R & 2BSIQ. From Microham boxes to elusive YCCC kits to DIY switching, the crew digs into what works, what doesn’t, and why great audio routing is as much brain as it is hardware.

They wrap with fall CQWW plans (ZF1A, CQ9A, V47T) and the big "surprise": Dan & Chris are teaming up for WRTC England. Let the trash talk begin.

Big thanks to DX Engineering for backing contesters, DXers, and portable ops worldwide with the tools and tech to stay loud.
