I think this is a worthy effort.

I just signed a petition to The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate: Stop the US Post Office from subsidizing the junk mail clogging our mailboxes and landfills!

We got slammed here, Sheila. Just got back online at 9 pm Friday. Are you related to the guy on the mountain? I've got no news on the overdue climbers. A Search and Rescue team went up to Camp Muir, today, I hear. No word, and no contact with the climbers.

Thanks, Diane.

I went to Sprinker Recreation Center yesterday to met with Pierce County officials about the ice rink rebuild, but serindipitiouly I met a few local women who skate professionally with Disney on Ice and I photographed them working out. They greatly expanded the story.

”I’m really happy and relieved that Sprinker is going to be renovated,” said Liz Mulvey, a Puyallup native who took lessons at Sprinker as a kid and since then has skated professionally with Disney on Ice and toured Europe with Holiday on Ice.

Please Help! We're still looking for the Good Samaritan who saved the lives of three people whose house was burning to the ground. He works at the Renton Boeing plant, likes antique motorcycles, lives in Graham or Eatonville, 6-foot, middle-aged, full-sized pick up truck. Pictured is Chippers the cat, who perished in the blaze.

Nicknamed “The Boeing Guy” because he was wearing a Boeing employee lanyard, he is also a friendly fellow and hung-out with Danny Kloss, Brenda Snell and her 15 year-old son Austin, after they escaped to safety.

Big story in Graham isn't just the fire - it's the unknown Good Samaritan who saved three people by banging on their front door for ten minutes until the dog woke up and started barking. The family didn't hear the smoke alarms, either. But NO ONE knows the guy's name - not the family, the neighbors, the firefighters..........but I'm on the Hunt for the Unknown Good Samaritan!

Early Saturday morning, an unknown Good Samaritan saved the lives of three Graham residents who were sleeping unaware of an intense fire consuming their house.

I'm amazed at the proliferation of these large-scale community Easter Egg Hunts. I never knew them as a kid, but now, it's a major event for children. What's your view on this cultural phenomena - did you have community Easter Egg Hunts when you were growing up? How have they gotten to be such a big deal? Any ideas?

Under splendid spring-time sunshine, 6,000 Pierce County residents enjoyed the 25th Annual Eggstravaganza at the Sound Life Church on 176th St in Frederickson.

I had a lot of fun doing this story. These guys really move great - Marty and Kevin kept up with Ellen, the instructor, the whole time while I was left in the dust.

“I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been,” said one of the guys, Marty Miller, 54, who also plays tennis and takes regular T’ai Chi classes in his hometown of Eatonville.

This artist sketch is the third attempt by the FBI to capture the appearance and expressive qualities of DB Cooper. After 40 years, his identity and whereabouts are still unknown, and the FBI's difficulty in developing an accurate portrait of DBC reveals his elusive nature.

Are you fascinated with the DB Cooper case - America's only unsolved skyjacking - or do you like true-crime investigations? If so, check out my latest findings.

On January 30, 2011, I interviewed Ralph Himmelsbach, a retired DB Cooper case agent from the FBI’s Portland, Oregon office. Mr. Himmelsbach, a career FBI agent, served as Portland’s lead investigator from the time of the skyjacking on November 24, 1971 until his retirement from the Bureau in April

This shot of a few Seafair Pirates performing in Orting during the Daffodil Parade needs to go somewhere, so I'm putting it here on FB and see what happens.
