A new New Logical Sports record: 210 broadcasts in 2026. 🎥🏆

Last night’s Ulqini vs. Osner’s match officially became our record-breaking 210th livestream of the year.

Oisín and Elkin were on-site in Brooklyn running the production, while I did help a little with getting the PC set up remotely—from Berlin, Germany, but I probably didn’t need to.

That moment gave me a chance to think about just how far we’ve come.

I remember the first time I trusted someone else to run one of our livestreams. It was 2019. I was at a New York Rangers road game in Ottawa, Canada, while our event was happening back in Brooklyn. We didn’t make it successfully to the end of the broadcast.

Then there was 2021, when I missed about half of a wedding in Florida because I was troubleshooting problems trying to keep another stream running.

We’ve come a long way since then.

Breaking this record means a lot to me, but doing it with the trust and reliability of other people means even more. It shows that this operation no longer has to depend on one person being everywhere at once.

Personally, that means I can start getting some of my life back and dedicate more time to my physical health. For New Logical Sports, it means something much bigger: we can scale responsibly the best quality setup with the right people, the right training, and the right standards.

What once seemed like a pipe dream has become a real team and a growing operation.

Thank you to all of our broadcast partners for continuing to put your trust in us. And a huge thank you to our incredible operators, videographers, commentators, presenters, and everyone behind the scenes for being dependable, learning the system, and continuing to raise the standard.

🏆 It was Sligo NY’s day on the final day of the 2026 New York Senior Football Championship.

It was a long season, with enough breaks along the way that each of the seven teams seemed to have its own spell of good form — and its own struggles. Cavan managed to emerge from the chaos at the top of the table heading into the playoffs, but Sligo, a club that has consistently found ways to win through the different eras of New York GAA’s short-lived “super teams,” tapped into that experience, navigated the challenges, and ultimately won the title that counts.

Still, it was a final worth celebrating all around. Cavan have now reached two Championship Finals since returning to Senior. Sligo ended a four-year drought after coming close to missing the playoffs entirely. And Gaelic Park was packed for the occasion.

Seamus Smith was in great form on the PA, and with a dream team of Oisín & Eugene on commentary, Áine handling presentations, and Donncha & Pat running the broadcast, it became one of our best productions yet — with record viewership for an NLS+ PPV broadcast.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who tuned in this year.

With so many games every weekend, hot days, rainy days, constant logistical planning and coordinating equipment across multiple venues, putting all of this together can be mentally draining. But seeing the finished product makes it worthwhile. We’re proud to give New York GAA — and, for the first time this year, Philadelphia GAA — the coverage it deserves.

A massive thank you to our hardworking team and every person, club and business that worked with us to help cover as many games as possible.

While we still have two finals remaining, this effectively feels like the close of our adult GAA season as we shift our focus back toward soccer, rugby and Minor GAA.

A sound group of people on the NLS team — and not pictured are another 30 members of our squad who have been putting in the hard work all year.

This Sunday, we’ll officially match our all-time annual record for livestreams produced at 209 events — and we’re only in September.

While the GAA season is wrapping up, club soccer and rugby are getting into full swing, which means we’re on pace to blow past that record by roughly 50 games before Christmas.

There’s no question in my mind that, at this level, we’ve built the best all-around service of its kind. Great cameramen. Great operators. Great commentators. Great presenters. Most importantly, a group of people who care about getting it right.

There’s always room for improvement, and we’ll never stop looking for ways to get better. But year after year, we’ve strengthened the team, raised our standards, and turned weak links into strong suits.

It’s hard to believe September 11, 2001 was 25 years ago.

Experiencing that day as an eight-year-old was strange. I was in school, and our teachers did an incredible job shielding us from what was happening. But as classmates began being dismissed early, we knew something wasn’t right. Learning the full extent of what happened hours later was a lot to comprehend at that age.

It was in the days and years that followed that I truly began to understand the human toll. Growing up in the New York area meant sharing in the grief of friends who lost parents, uncles, family members, and other loved ones. For so many families, September 11 never really ended that day—its impact became part of their lives and our communities.

As we remember the 2,977 lives tragically lost to terrorism, I also find great solace in the countless stories of heroism from that day. First responders and everyday civilians ran toward danger, often at tremendous personal risk, and helped save thousands of lives.

Their collective response stands among history’s greatest acts of civic collectivism and heroism—thousands of people putting everything else aside to help strangers, save lives, and protect one another. Some ultimately gave their own lives doing so.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those we lost, stand with the families who continue to carry that loss, and honor the heroes whose courage and selflessness represent the very best of America. Their actions continue to inspire me and make me incredibly proud to be an American.

Today, I’d also like to share just a few of the stories of the victims and first responders whose lives and sacrifices are connected to close friends and communities in my own life. Their stories are a reminder that behind every name is a family, a community, and a legacy that continues 25 years later.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

7 years ago today, we produced our first-ever full-match sports livestream: Lansdowne Rugby vs. Brooklyn — broadcast in two halves on Facebook Live. Richie Price on the mic for commentary.

The setup was about as grassroots as it gets.

My work laptop that I’d bought a year earlier. A picnic table. A used Panasonic camcorder I bought from a friend. A cheap tripod from Micro Center. A basic SM58 microphone. And for power, I drove my car as close to the grass field as I could and ran an extension cord from an inverter connected to the battery.

I actually didn’t think it looked very good.

My teammates thought it looked great, though, so we carried on.

From that day forward, I was constantly thinking about one thing: How do we make this better?

The funny thing is, getting to “Day 1” took a long time.

I first wanted to livestream sports all the way back in 2006 after seeing the livestream setup in the film The Benchwarmers. I thought I might get there in 2009 with MSG Varsity, but the outdoor infrastructure and funding just weren’t there yet.

I tried again in 2015 with WBMB Radio. Same problem: funding.

I acquired the software in 2016. Bought my first capture card in 2017. And after years of thinking about it, experimenting and trying to piece everything together, we finally made it work in 2019.

Thirteen years of thinking about an idea just to get to Day 1.

Now somehow, Day 1 was seven years ago.

The past seven years have felt like an eternity, and the standard today is almost unrecognizable compared with that picnic-table setup. But that first stream mattered because it proved we could do it — and gave us something to improve every single time we went back out.

Thank you to every team, league, organization and person who asked us to livestream a game, trusted us with their event, encouraged us to keep going, or gave us another opportunity to make the product better.

Seven years later, we’re still hammering away.

And I’m still asking the same question:
