Hi, I’m Kacey Settine, founder of Set In Stone Media Co. ✨

After my wedding in June 2024, I discovered the magic of capturing meaningful moments with care and creativity. As the Marketing Manager for Emerald Stone, the talented team we chose for our own wedding, I bring a passion for storytelling to both wedding and corporate content creation.

One of the most emotional and personal parts of our ceremony was inviting our moms into the moment.

As we exchanged vows, we had our mothers participate in a ring warming ceremony—a symbolic way to involve them in blessing our future.

Here’s what our officiant shared:
“At the end of their perfect, first date, as they both were still basking in the afterglow of meeting someone special, both Greg and Kacey picked up their cell phones—and who did they call first? Their mothers. So, each wanted to include those special women in today's ceremony. Therefore, while Greg and Kacey exchange their vows, they have asked that their mothers, Kerry and Sandy, participate in the warming of the rings.

It was so special to give space to the women who raised us, nurtured us, and loved us into the people we are.

One of the many things Greg and I have figured out in our marriage—just a few months in—is how to really support each other. Through the wins, the “what am I doing?” moments, the new ideas, the big leaps, the slow days… we show up. Fully.

This is the man behind Set in Stone. The one I’m now with. The reason I even get to say that name with pride (credit where credit is due… I did take his last name, after all). 🙃

Marriage is a magical thing, and if I’ve learned anything so far, it’s that knowing how to hold space for each other through everything is what makes the magic feel real.
