DONE! My closet is totally decluttered! I tried on every item I own and donated 6 giant bags of clothing. I freed up all the hangers in the pictures and now have a closet with clothes that are comfortable. I also donated tons of shoes and tote bags galore. Have you done this yet? 👚👖👗

Don’t let anyone discourage you from having yard sales. They’re worth a try!

I’ve had 3 yard sales all from just decluttering the house…
Money made:
May - $806
June - $1390
July - $1280
August - Scheduled for 8/30!!!
PLUS I’ve sold about $3000 on FB marketplace so far.

(All clothing was donated so no money made there.)

1. Don’t forget to advertise on FB Marketplace , Craigslist and all local FB community groups.

I start posting the Sunday before and post pictures of items.

2. Put lots of signs out! I put about 30 leading to my house and all main roads nearby. I live deep in the farmlands and still get a lot of buyers doing this.

I put the signs out between Wednesday and Friday depending on the weather.

3. I continue to post pictures of the yard sale throughout the day and it brings in a steady stream of people.

I post whatever’s left for free for a couple of days then donate or toss the rest.

My goal is to have nothing go back in the garage! My prices are cheap to achieve that goal.
