A huge thank you to the City of Yorkville for partnering with Terrapin Aquatics Management to help clean up Jaycee Pond. The results are amazing!

As a Yorkville resident, I’ve taken my kids fishing here for years—and we used to only catch w**ds. Now, we’re catching fish! 🐟✨

This project not only restored the pond but also brought back a fun, family-friendly fishing spot for our community to enjoy.

Make plans to join us Saturday, June 21, for a morning of fishing and fun at Jericho Lake! Organized by our Operations team, the FREE Youth Fishing Derby encourages families to get out and enjoy nature while participating in a timeless recreational activity. With prizes and a hotdog lunch grilled onsite, the Derby is an ideal event to introduce a child to fishing, and we'll have limited gear on hand for those who don't have their own.
