✨ After a 3-year hiatus, I finally dipped my toes back into wire wrapping today — and y’all… I have missed this so much.
I’ve been wanting to return to jewelry making for a long time, but life kept life-ing. I never seemed to have the time, the tools, and the mental energy all lined up at once — until today.
Shout out to Devyn for being the real MVP 🙌🏾 He remembered I’ve been wanting to get back into this and took me to grab some wire (only place in town that had any was Ace Hardware, so double shout out). I wanted 14 gauge, but ended up with 16, which honestly was a blessing in disguise because my wrists are not what they were in 2021 😅
He also picked up some gorgeous 16mm and 20mm gemstone spheres for me — and while he was off filming, I decided to finally stop waiting for the “perfect time” and just start.
Yes, I panicked. Yes, I second-guessed myself. And yes, I followed a tutorial (then freaked out and freestyled halfway through lol). But I finished it. And I love how it turned out. 🧿👐🏾
