I’m in love. With this print. With The Blue Heron. If you know me, you already know my obsession with her. My good friend Liz and I went to St. Francisville one weekend for a garden tour and gardening workshops that were held there. We both purchased a print from The Corbel. Hers has magnolias and hummingbirds. It’s printed on a French antique paper. I wanted something for this wall. Simple but beautiful. When I saw this I knew this was it. Oh and that gorgeous bowl, from The Corbel too. I’ve been having these lamps and Lord help me I want to paint them green. I’ve been meaning to share some pictures from our weekend in St. Francisville. Would you be interested in that?

Hey Friends! It's done. The first Create and Connect retreat is scheduled. If I keep waiting for things to be perfect, for the perfect time, it will never get done. I've worked on this retreat for the last 6 months and I can't wait to host this out at our home in Youngsville. Spots are limited. Just got back from a relaxing stay at the beach. We stayed at The Colonnades in Gulf Shores. Loved the condo. It was so beautiful I had to share. It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Would be great for girls trip!

Took this light fixture out of the gym. I’m going to reuse it for a new project I’m working on. Had some leftover sample paints and these pretty floral shades. Ta-dah. New custom chandelier.

Bryant and I like working out from home. It’s convenient and we don’t have to fight the traffic. Our home gym was sufficient and we have used it for quite some time now. But we decided to make a few changes. First up, the sauna was in my workshop which is attached to the back of the gym. We decided that it would be better if we could move the sauna into the gym and out of my workshop. In order to do that we needed to make space for it by taking out a wall. Thats’s where it started. We hired Scott and Rhonda, our go to team for projects around the house. They took the wall out and began the process of recreating this space. It’s still a work in progress but the construction and painting are done. We are now just waiting for equipment and mirrors to be delivered.
