My bedroom 1975... KHB-5572. I still have the Bearcat 101, the Turner +2, and the Magnavox SW radio (far left). The CBs were Boman CB-770, Realistic TRC ? tube set, and a JCPenny Pinto 23. Not much has changed in 50 years except Farrah has been replaced with a wife 😁

New metal industrial foot switch for hands free PTT with my Heil headset. It’s heavy and doesn’t move like the cheap plastic ones do. Makes a big ”kerchunck” when I step on it.

Latest addition to the rack is my Yaesu FT-847 (another score from Japan) covering 2 meter/432 MHz SSB/FT8/FT4/CW - So I am now running all Yaesu gear in the shack and in the mobile.
All of my Icom gear is in storage.

Double the Yaesu Ft-920's, double the fun! One devoted to 6 meters and the other HF. Ft-450 is going in the truck. I took a chance and picked both of these up from Japanese vendors for a great deal, at about $250 less than what they go for in the US. Free super fast DHL shipping from Tokyo to my QTH was 4 days.

Latest addition to the rack- Yaesu FT-920. I bought a 920 around 2000. For whatever reason I didn't like its receiver compared to my Icom IC-751A so I sold it.. Don't know what I was thinking back then , but this thing is a great rig.

Moved to a condo and have downsized the shack to a "shack in a rack." I chose the Ciro Mazzoni Baby Loop as my only HF antenna. I am making contacts worldwide FT8/FT4 with this indoor magnetic loop antenna with just 10 - 25 watts.
