📝 How to enter:
Submit a short letter explaining why you or your nominee deserves a new heating unit.
🏠 Nominees must own their home to be eligible.

Michael Ramos Jr., 18, was taken off life support this afternoon. At Yucca Valley High School, his death was announced to the roughly 1,000 people who had gathered to pray for him and his family.

Michael Ramos Jr., a graduate of the Yucca Valley High School Class of 2025 and all-league football star, is expected to be taken off life support in the Desert Regional ICU. Ramos was shot while trying to break up a fight in Yucca Valley Sunday night, his family said. Details on the gofundme and a vigil are at the link.
