[available] This late 19th to early 20th-century piece features magnificent architectural presence. It has been meticulously restored to showcase its natural wood grain and exquisite historical details.

It features a French inspired design with turned legs, fluted block brackets, a distinctive apron with a subtle, elegant scalloped edge, and an H-stretcher that ensures structural stability.

The top surfaces bear the authentic, beautiful characteristics of time. There is minor pitting, soft weathering, and a rich, authentic patina that cannot be replicated by modern manufacturing.

This piece is exceptionally versatile and perfectly scaled for a variety of uses. Because it is finished on all four sides, this table is ready to be placed in the center of an office or library, or could even be used as an intimate dining table for two.

* It was sprayed with two coats of a dead flat varnish from General Finishes to offer extra protection, but it looks and feels like raw oak.

[available] This is an exceptional antique rural pine cabinet that was built between 1850-1880.

It is crafted from solid old-growth pine, featuring a beautiful mellowed finish that allows the rich, tight grain, patterns, knots, and natural patina to take center stage.

It boasts a prominent architectural crown molding at the top and a plinth base with a subtle carved detail at the bottom.

The unique pair of planked doors are punctuated by two glass windows. Each are held on using iron butt-hinges and nails, which is another indicator of its impressive age and craftsmanship.

Look closely and you will see large, square head nails and charming irregular tool marks all around.

When we acquired it, the back left foot and base were broken and causing the cabinet to lean. We used some of our old pine to attach and then carved it to match the rest of the base. It also originally had tin panels, but they were likely not original as they were too perfect for the time period this was built. We opted to router and chisel the backs of each window panel to install glass, and then crafted square pine dowels to keep the it in place.

Although traditionally used in a bedroom, this cabinet would also serve well in a dining room for special dishes and linens, a living room for quilts and blankets, or a laundry or mudroom for extra storage.
