This is the most charming antique pine coffee table with the most perfect cottage vibe.

It features a hand-planed three-board top, showcasing natural variations, soft weathering, and historical wear marks that accentuate its age.

A single dovetailed drawer with a turned wood k**b spans the front to tuck away your remotes. It opens and closes easily, without rubbing or sticking.

It is constructed using pegged mortise and tenon joinery, with stretchers around the base for stability and practicality. This piece would easily fit into European, Tudor, primitive, or organic interiors.

[SOLD] This European [likely German] pine chest dates to around 1840 to 1860, and has all the captivating characteristics we love to find.

It features hand-cut dovetail drawers, beautifully aged brass hardware and escutcheon plates, carved corner blocks, shaped bracket feet, historic woodworm damage, oxidation, and authentic patina that only time can create.

There is minor shrinkage around the drawers. Furniture this old behaves almost like a living thing, quietly expanding and contracting year after year. However, they still operate smoothly without rubbing or sticking.

This piece is a complete transformation, as it was covered in turquoise paint before we began to strip it away. Pine is beautiful all on its own, with just a hint of light brown wax to add warmth and protection. There are still remnants of paint if you look closely, as a reminder of all the lives it’s lived.

Stunning oversized accent chest to hold everything from sweaters to blankets. It’s deep drawers make it an exceptional storage piece, with timeless character and nearly two centuries of history.

[SOLD]

This early 20th-century French oak 32 drawer apothecary (or mercantile) cabinet came to us exactly as we’d hoped it would… with its history still tucked inside.

When we opened the drawers, we discovered they were filled with the original contents from an optician’s workshop, including spectacle parts, resin, and the tiny components once used to repair and assemble eyeglasses. It felt like opening a time capsule. Rather than separating those pieces from the cabinet, we’ve chosen to include them with the sale. After spending so many decades together, it simply feels right that they remain together.

The cabinet itself is beautifully crafted from solid oak with a warm, rich patina that only comes from generations of honest use. Its many drawers, several of which retain their original divided interiors, were thoughtfully designed to organize hundreds of small items with remarkable efficiency. Every drawer slides open to reveal another little piece of its story.

Today, it would make an extraordinary statement in a kitchen, study, library, entryway, or creative workspace. Whether you use it to organize collections, art supplies, linens, or simply admire it as a sculptural piece of furniture, it brings an undeniable sense of character to a home.
