This is such a darling set of colonial style chairs featuring classic turned legs with stiles connecting the beautiful curved crest rails. This set includes 4 chairs.

Built from solid oak and maple and finished using time period appropriate black milk paint. Milk paint gained popularity during the colonial era of the 17th-19th centuries. Pigments were mixed with milk and lime for practical and decorative use. It remains a popular non-toxic alternative to modern paints today.

They were thoughtfully and methodically distressed to show age and wear for that perfect lived in and cozy aesthetic. They have been sealed for protection.

All chairs were repaired prior to painting so that they sit solid and stable.

Pair with a round or rectangle wood dining table for a stunning contrast.

We are leaning into a dark and moody country vibe with this unique 19th century scullery table.

It would have originally served as a prep table in the mid-1800s.

Built from solid pine and oak; featuring a single dovetailed drawer with turned legs. This is a one of a kind piece, full of charming details.

This came out of an estate that was overflowing with German furniture. It has been previously painted in a brownish-yellow color and it was not holding up well. We decided to change it to this layered finish using casein based paint and stain to create a timeworn look.

Three coats of shellac were applied and then rubbed out using an English dark brown wax for a beautiful luster.

This is not just "painted black", but a methodical application of several time period appropriate materials to emulate both the look and feel of an aged antique table.

It is solid and stable, and the drawer slides easily. It sits flush as it should without tipping backwards.

This is a smaller piece that would compliment a breakfast nook, or would make for a fine game table in a bonus room. Pair with slipcovered or wood chairs.

*If you prefer to use it as a coffee table, it can be cut down to the proper height for that.

This is a one-of-a-kind primitive pew bench from the late 1700s. There are a few exposed hand-forged squarehead nails that are now a decorative indicator of its age.

According to the previous owner, it made its way here from the Muskoka area of Ontario, Canada. It belonged to a canon of a Muskoka Lakes Anglican church, and remained in their family for centuries.

It has been sanded down to expose the raw pine it was built with. There are areas of various green, blue, and white paint, as well as authentic patina markings; reminding us of just how much life it has lived over the past 200+ years. It is not noticeable from a distance, but upon closer examination, the stories begin to unfold.

* The underside is orginal and preserved so that you can see all the colors it has been.

It is solid and stable, and can most definitely be sat on and used. It is another piece from our personal collection, as we also love rare items with history. However, the time has come to allow someone else to enjoy it 😊

Great for a foyer to set the tone of your home, or for your mudroom to remove your boots!

This is a solid maple primitive jelly cabinet built in the early 1900s. Beautiful farmhouse, rustic, or cottage piece!

It has two dovetailed drawers over cabinet doors. The drawers have been repaired so that they slide easily.

The cabinet opens to a wide interior with two fixed shelves. It has been sprayed in a warm white enamel based finish.

The exterior was stripped and sanded down before applying a warm, dark brown stain with some golden tones. We also applied shellac and dark wax to give it that delicious antique glow.

Serves well for an entryway, mudroom, laundry room, pantry, or primary bathroom to store linens.

Shelf heights are all 11.5”
