Sabio Dub and Jazzy lion man’s Jazzy Dub (Deluxe) eases into an old‑school New York mood. Clipped snares and grimy vocal delivery that lean into stoop‑side storytelling; production favors tape hiss and scratches over polish, keeping the first half terse, menacing, and tightly wound.

Past the midpoint the record flips the map: the second half loosens into sunnier West Coast grooves. Laid‑back keys and roomy percussion that trade claustrophobic grit for a more languid sway. Guest verses pop up like side characters in a sitcom, samples punctuate instead of parade, and the transitions are deft enough that both moods feel like chapters of the same story.

Call it Sabio Dub 2: Electric Boogaloo: equal parts homage and mischief. It’s a short, sharp two‑act record that remembers how to sound lived‑in without sounding tired.

FreeThe is proud to present this new version and update of Jazzy Dub, originally released July 30, 2025.
An additional five songs makes the original’s release feel like it’s left wanting. The Deluxe came through on its promise by expanding a track list naturally and cementing the chemistry found between Dub & Jazzy. This wasn’t forced or coerced, it was earned.

_______________________________________

Jazzy Dub (Deluxe) is part of an ongoing goal FreeThe aims for this year in having minimum one release a month. We are excited to continue putting out music that represents the spirit FreeThe’s very foundation was built on. Our collaboration with Sabio Dub & Jazzy lion man is something we are eager to deepen. They have done nothing if not inspire to explore musical gusto and show creativity in a community lens.

“Pulling” by Lucky Brothers: a slick, late‑night groove engineered for a sweaty rave in the Lower East Side or a neon‑soaked Bushwick basement moody lights, a $10 too expensive cocktail, and a crowd pretending they discovered it first. Sparse, luxurious production puts the vocals front‑and‑center; the chorus is obnoxiously sticky in the best way. It’s the perfect background flex: cool, replayable, and still feeling brand‑new after the fifth round. Play it, post it, repeat.

Thank You Lord by Antonio Madruga
Out now!

Crystal Sunset Records x FreeThe Entertainment are proud to present this new album, streaming on all major platforms.

It’s difficult to categorize this work:
Is it a debut? Is it a return? Antonio makes himself known with this strong freshman project. Though it’s not really fair to call it that, Antonio is far from being a rookie. Having been a pianist nearly all his life, his trajectory towards songwriting and producing has taken shape into a unique expression of music. Being a seasoned performer, Antonio is no stranger to expressing himself through his vulnerability. Thank You Lord takes the listener through Mr. Madruga’s personal journey with his Creator. His gratitude and love shines through with each song.
This album marks a new direction for Antonio’s music venture in Crystal Sunset’s partnership with FreeThe. Starting with a new string of albums scheduled through the new year, Antonio is ready for new firsts.

Please enjoy Thank You Lord, streaming on all major platforms.

Just Tonight by Marki Lucky

Out now! Marki takes us back to the club to start off the summer. School’s wrapping up for the semester, let the part start!

and his violin stylings are always welcome

had this to say:

Let’s give credit where it’s due: Marki Lucky’s “Just Tonight” is a full-throttle throwback to the early 2010s club days—think Calvin Harris l collabs, neon-lit sticky floors, and lyrics that treated “tonight” like it was the last night on earth. This isn’t just nostalgia; it’s purposeful nostalgia. While everyone else is chasing hyperpop glitch-core or TikTok’s flavor-of-the-week angst, Marki digs up the millennial holy trinity: YOLO, cheap vodka, and syntha that hit like a strobe light migraine. The track’s a love letter to that era when “epic” wasn’t ironic yet, and honestly? We’re kinda here for it.

The vibe is pure millennial-core meets Gen Z melancholy: synths that pulse like a Nokia flip phone buried in your freshman year trauma, a bassline that’s basically yelling “SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS!” from the back of a Zipcar while crying about climate change, and a chorus so earnestly committed to the “tonight all I need is you” ethos, you half-expect a cameo from neon shutter shades and a TikTok therapist. It’s not deep, but it’s not trying to be. it’s the musical equivalent of a group chat where someone drops a “u up?” text at 2 AM and everyone responds with memes about being vaguely gay to each other.

Final Verdict: Give her a call. You will only slightly regret it tomorrow.

U-Haul by Ryan Yingst | Out Now!!

Continuing in his resurgence, Ryan shows us a little piece of his journey in this new single. Sometimes, all we can hope for is a little understanding, and everyone can relate to transitions. isn’t shy to show his vulnerable side, a songwriter is often transparent enough to feel empathy.

Our new writer, has this to say:
“The premise? Life is a U-Haul truck. Not as a metaphor for love, but as a sleight to monotony. Yingst’s lyrics ditch weepy breakup tropes to ask: What if we just… left? This song is less about heartache and more about the existential dread of being a millennial who accidentally “adulted” too well (god I hate that word). The chorus is catchy in that way that makes you want to quit your side hustle and move to Thailand—or at least repost the song with a “MOOD” caption.

I can just feel the existential dread coming out of this song. Being a young person in our world right-now-crippling-economy, and the possibility of a third world war everyday. When over 50% of the population is in danger in our country it makes me want to sell everything I own and just buy a van, smoke copious amounts of w**d and just do whatever I want just to have some sense of happiness I haven’t felt since I was a child. Am I projecting a little? Probably more than I’d like to admit. However this song embodies that feeling and for 3 minutes I feel heard.”

White Lies by Marki Lucky

Good morning, or good evening. Today we’re looking at Marki Lucky, a Ukrainian prodigy who’s been wielding a violin since age five (because childhood is overrated), currently studying at the prestigious Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, has now pivoted from concert halls and classy wine to raves and a key in the bathroom with his self-produced single “White Lies”.

How would I describe this song?
“What if river dance drank the juice out of a glow-stick?”. “White Lies” is a Frankenstein marvel, part Paganini, part Deadmau5’s discarded demos. The violin here isn’t just featured; it’s unhinged, oscillating between mournful Slavic folk melodies and the kind of synth-chasing riffs that suggest Marki has unresolved feelings about his ex. The beat, meanwhile, is musically functional if not too flashy. It knows its place, the violin takes center stage, as a violinist would playing a concerto in front of an orchestra.

I would imagine hearing this for people who think Burning Man isn’t a waste of 1500$. Picture it: You’re three days into a bender, it’s 105 degrees and there’s sand in your eyes, you haven’t drank water the entire time, you aren’t completely sober from the night before... Suddenly, “White Lies” slaps through the speakers, its violin slicing through the bass like a switchblade in a yoga class.

Though very ambitious, “White Lies” occasionally leaves the violin out. Technically flawless, emotionally vulnerable. It gets subverted by the beat in moments, feeling as if the thump is prioritized over the melody. But when it shines through, there’s no mistaking it.

Final Thoughts:
This is what happens when a classically trained musician discovers music production and a life in the club. “White Lies” isn’t just a song—it’s a middle finger to genre purists, and a surprisingly effective party trick. I can totally see this working as he finds his niche. We’ve seen crossover before, but in a world where “innovation” means slapping reverb and auto tune on a guy hitting a v**e too hard, Marki’s violin-club Frankenstein is… refreshing. Or alarming. Either way, I won’t complain.

Ryan Yingst - All Dressed Up for the End of the World

Ryan’s been busy. If you follow him on social media, you’d see that he is always playing live these days. Working hard as a gigging musician, his time is split between writing and performing.

After moving to Philadelphia, Ryan was able to feel reconnected with his northeast roots.

“The people and energy is much different than the south and fits me a bit more I think”.

Now that he’s more settled, Ryan has a string of upcoming projects headed in a new direction. He’s lightening up the approach and pumping out more material as he’s letting the emotions guide his hand. As his own producer, and publisher with FreeThe, there’s no pressure on him, no quota to meet.

Ryan has the time and environment to experiment with how his familiar sounds meet his new ideas.

‘All Dressed Up for the End of the World’ begins to implement these perspectives and really hones in on the transparency of his music making.

“The vocals bleed into the guitar mics, there’s no timing, the cello solo is live and I love it. I think honesty and authenticity matter to me more in recording practices than I let myself believe…”

This combined sound is resulted finding synths intertwined with acoustic guitar, layers of vocals along side samples of found sound. Ryan bridges the gap and with that, reinforces the theme of worldview, and meaning.

“It functions as a simple love song if you ignore the backdrop I try to paint. j love writing with lyrics that feel a certain type of way before I even know what they’re about.”

Certainly, and we can’t wait to hear more from Ryan.
Follow him as he’s playing live this month and next. You can find him down at the in North Carolina on April 5th, and otherwise local shows in Philadelphia.

Dub Talk by Sabio Dub is out now!!

A sample of Sabio’s ability to blend with any producer, Dub Talk does just that. We hear what he has to say, and the urgency found in his message still feels calm.

“Keep your health in mind, now’s the right time”

As if there even can be a wrong time…

Dub is joined by on the eponymous track, exchanging words in kind. Primo questions the merit of dreams without the work put in. His message is clear: one is in charge of one’s own destiny, don’t waste time.
Likening it to his own artistic journey, it’s clear that Primo Jab is focused.

Dub is winning and has no time to waste. The arc this three track EP hones in on captures his achievements thus far and where he’s going next.

Out now!
THXKFLL by FLLS is out now on all platforms!

Dipping back into the pool of alternative hip-hop, it’s been a combined impression of a return to familiarity, along with a new sound palette sourced from the feels of flls.
Track 4, Let Me, takes the production to a mixed texture that one could be reminded almost of T-Pain coming out of the melodic hook, along with a more straightforward near-Chicago cadence reminiscent of Chance the Rapper, and even the likes of Common.

is just getting started with this project just a form of expression used mostly to refresh himself. His confidence and command of the microphone is duly noted. We’re looking forward to hearing more out of his corner.

“The music feels like clear Sunday evening stroll thru the city. Has that airy feel from the sample but the grit from the drums and the lyrics and my voice cutting through the tracks. It can to people in their early 30s trying to get things right the 2nd go round. People who have had that mental restart and wanna shed those old feelings.”

After rereleasing some older music, FLLS is moving on to collaborate with some other producers.

“I’m currently working on some new stuff with ThxkU, Zawati Moon, and a couple of other producers.”

THXKFLL is out now!
