📣 Congratulations, Supervisor Pancrazi!
This week, the County Supervisors Association honored Yuma County Supervisor Lynne Pancrazi for her leadership as CSA President in 2025.

Throughout the year, Supervisor Pancrazi worked tirelessly to strengthen collaboration between county officials and state leaders, ensuring local voices were heard in statewide policy discussions. She also played a key role in welcoming and supporting newly elected supervisors across Arizona, helping them access essential information, resources, and statewide peer connections.

Supervisor Pancrazi will continue serving on the CSA Executive Committee as Immediate Past-President in 2026.

Thank you, Supervisor Pancrazi, for your effort on behalf of Yuma County and Arizona. 💙

🚦 Traffic Advisory for the Foothills Area
The traffic signal at Fortuna Road and 35th Street is currently flashing red in all four directions. Drivers should treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Repairs are scheduled to begin the week of December 1. Please use extra caution when traveling through this area.

In addition, Fortuna Road is closed between 24th Street and U.S. Highway 95 due to a railroad-crossing equipment failure. Avenue 9E is the nearest alternate route.

Thank you for driving safely.

The Yuma County Board of Supervisors continued its series of visits with communities across the county this week, taking part in a special joint work session with the City of San Luis on Tuesday evening. 🇺🇸🤝

During the meeting, leaders from both jurisdictions discussed planning and zoning matters, major infrastructure projects, and a potential regional transportation sales tax—important topics shaping the future of our rapidly growing region. 🏗️🛣️

Yuma County remains committed to collaboration and open dialogue as we work together to serve residents countywide. 🌵✨

🌱 Big News for Arizona Agriculture! 🌵

Today marks a huge milestone in Yuma County’s journey toward cutting-edge AgTech innovation! Governor Katie Hobbs joined us for the dedication of the first AgTech Tower as part of a broader effort to bring next-gen broadband to Yuma’s 160,000 acres of farmland.

AgTech Tower Initiative will distribute 34 towers across Yuma’s greenbelt to support real-time data collection, autonomous farming, precision irrigation, and more! 🌾

Governor Hobbs signed two key bills, one for Autonomous Farm Vehicles and another to establish a Broadband Service District, setting Arizona up as a leader in AgTech. 🚜📶

This investment is all about future-proofing agriculture, creating jobs, and boosting Arizona’s role as a global hub for sustainable farming innovation. 🌍

🚧 Traffic Signal Installation at County 14th St & Avenue 4E 🚧

Starting 11/12/2025, a new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of County 14th Street and Avenue 4E to improve safety and reduce serious crashes. The project will also add dedicated left-turn lanes in all directions.

🛑 Please note: Avenue 4E will be closed to thru traffic from County 13th to 15th Street during the first week of December for widening, but local traffic will still be allowed. Once complete, the intersection will have a new signal and improved traffic flow!
