Proud to share that Alejandro Figueroa has completed the Arizona Economic Development Professional (AZED Pro) certification through the Arizona Association for Economic Development.

AZED Pro is Arizona’s only state-specific economic development credential and requires completion of multiple in-person core courses over a period of two years. The program is designed to strengthen practical, statewide expertise in areas like business development, workforce development, and community growth.

Congratulations, Alejandro, on this achievement and your continued commitment to Arizona's economic future!

🚨 Yuma County’s Emergency Management team has outgrown its double-wide and has moved into its own, new building!

Now located next door to where the County’s Emergency Operations Center is housed, the team will be able to respond faster to developing countywide emergencies, instead of being 20 minutes away. The new building gives Emergency Management sufficient space for personnel and storage, plus their first conference room.

The County looks forward to using this new space to continue enhancing services for residents.
