MINDSET

Every person born was endowed with ability, capacity, and giftings that make them unique.

The problem arises when we allow life, school, family, the people around us, media, propaganda, and marketing to tell us who and what we are.

Like a tree that produces fruit, fruit that contains both nutrients and seed for future production, we carry within us this incredible “stuff” from our Creator. It is meant to feed, build up, empower, and serve those around us.

And like that seed, WE ALSO HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REPRODUCE as we feed others.

But society conditions us to:

1. Be self-absorbed and self-centered, focused only on who can serve us
2. Become cannibalistic in our thinking and behavior… consuming what was meant to be planted

This ought not be.

Before you hoard it for yourself…
👉 Pour it out (watch what grows)

And before you consume everything you have and die…
👉 Consider giving a portion away first… and watch the return.

People wonder why some up & comers aren’t great leaders. Well; a question to consider is, who did the leaders you question ever follow? 🤔 not on a subservient way but follow- learn- model- emulate… like Joshua and Moses. Naturally this doesn’t doesn’t apply to everyone of us, but it could apply to any one of us. 🤫And when we learn a thing or two how well have we historically followed through? How often do we practice? How do we respond to feedback? Do we seek simplicity, and settle for the deceptive semblance of security? Or… Do we lean in to discomfort? Get excited about the opportunity enveloped inside of change, chaos & uncertainty? And embrace the challenges associated with heeding the call to uproot and plant oneself in a newer, larger space so that we might be-do-produce-serve & have more than the status quo and the mundane existence associated with playing it safe and dying on the front porch of the familiar? 🫤 We don’t have to be perfect… just don’t die until God says it’s your time.

Weekly Recap | 3.29.26 – 4.3.26

This week we covered a lot of ground. We closed out Deuteronomy and stepped into Joshua… and right there we’re met with transition.

Leadership is changing hands.
Moses to Joshua.

But before we move forward, we’ve got to sit with something real…

Moses, one of the greatest leaders to ever live, did not enter the Promised Land.

Not because he lacked faith.
Not because he lacked obedience.

But because in one moment… he mismanaged his emotions.

At the rock, frustration with the people took over.
God told him to speak… but he struck.

And in that moment, he misrepresented God.

If we’re being honest… we’ve all had moments like that.
Moments where emotion overrides discipline.
Moments where pressure reveals what’s really in us.

The difference is… we now live under grace because of what Jesus did on the cross.

Then we see something just as powerful…

Before Moses transitioned, God had already established Joshua.

He wasn’t an afterthought… he was prepared.

“Be strong and courageous.”

That wasn’t just encouragement… that was preparation.

Because stepping into big roles will test your confidence, identity, and faith.

God prepares you before He positions you.

And over in Luke, we see something that still shows up today…

Religious people upset at the work of God because it didn’t fit their structure.

Jesus challenged their thinking and their hearts.

They were more committed to being right by their interpretation…
than doing right by caring for God’s people.

That mentality still exists.

Quick to make exceptions for themselves…
but overlook people in need when it doesn’t fit their system.

That’s not righteousness… that’s manipulation.

• Preparation always comes before elevation
• True righteousness prioritizes people over performance

We hit our 90-day milestone this week.

We’ve made progress… but we’re not done.

Stay disciplined. Stay focused.

Let the Word work in you…
so it can work through you.

Mindset 4-2-26

There’s more in most of us than we’ve been showing.

I’m not talking about potential… I’m talking about value.
Ability. Belief. Capacity.
(These are the A-B-C’s of life)

And at some point, each of us has to make a decision:
Am I going to rise up and operate at the level that is commensurate with the Ability God put in side of me?

Am I going to Believe in that God given ability enough to just BE the person I was created to be or will I sit back and keep playing small to fit into other people’s opinions of me?

And am I tired enough of trying to squeeze into boxes too small for my Capacity, or am I ready to recondition myself, break out the box, and go after the desires in my heart?

Things are changing…
Nobody’s coming to save you…
And if you’re one who fights to hold on to the way, things used to be; And have not Elohvated beyond the way you were taught to think, and have built your life & reality on everything that made you who you are today and don’t continue to grow deliberately… you’ve already lost because the world is moving rapidly, and it will soon pass you by.

Growth and adaptability are your responsibility.

So today… check your mindset.
Check your environment.
Check your movement.
Check your mentality.
Check your mindset.

Stagnation only happens when we quit on ourselves.

We are built, wired and created to grow and go until we’re gone.

So, make a decision to step into what’s already inside of you.

STW 365 • Week 10 Recap

What stood out to me in this week’s readings?
Not just a verse.
Not just a moment.
But a reminder that ran through every passage & verse;

When God assigns you… He also appoints & equips you.
Men did not make us… So, let man think & feel whatever he wants… Man can’t break us.

MONDAY MINDSET

If everyone could do what you do,
they would be doing it.

If everyone carried the same hunger for greatness that you carry, they wouldn’t settle for average, and the would not be content with a mediocre existence in their lives.

This is not to criticize, but it’s an acknowledgment of the fact and the truth that God made us all different.

I don’t know why and I’m not going to burn a ton of calories hypothesizing. But when I think back to when my dad gave me my first car; a brown 1976 Impala- 2 door … it was a bucket btw. So, he also gave me a Chilton how-to repair book 📖and a tool box. The tool box 🧰didn’t have a lot in it but he gave me a flat head and a fillips screwdriver, 🪛a pair of pliers, a short handle and a long handle ratchet , 1/2” 9/16”, 3/4” 🛠️and some other sockets because he knew I’d need different tools for different tasks. And the manual was a guide for me. And the same way my pops set me up with different tools for the different things he expected me to run into, you and I are equipped with different skillsets and abilities because we serve different functions and have different assignments in life.

So stop comparing… and stop letting people box us in with their comparisons.

If everyone was built for the path you’re walking, they would endure the same pressure,fight through the same pain, and take every step beside you.

But everyone is not built the same.

God created us different by design.

That doesn’t make anyone better or worse. It simply means we have different assignments, different gifts, and different seasons where those gifts are meant to produce fruit.

So be careful ⚠️not to fall into the trap of comparison.

And don’t allow yourself to be defined by anyone who doesn’t understand the assignment on your life.

Let the talkers talk.
While the doers do.

Know who you are.
Know who you are not.
Be great at being who you were created to be. 🦸‍♀️🦹🏽

Keep your head…
Guard your heart…

And keep pushin.
