There’s something so special about meeting a family for the very first time in my studio. 🤍

Sweet Baby L, born May 20th, came in for her newborn session surrounded by so much love.

Of course I love hearing all about the birth, how everything unfolded, what they remember most, the moments that made them laugh and the ones that brought tears. But one of my favorite parts is hearing the story that came before the baby.

How did you meet?
How did you fall in love?
How did the two of you become this beautiful family?

Those are the stories I could listen to all day.

I want my studio to be more than a place where you come to have beautiful photographs taken. I want it to be a place where families and mamas walk through the door and immediately feel safe, welcomed and loved.

Come in, let your hair down, snuggle your babies and tell me your love story. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, and sometimes we do both.

Every family has a story worth telling. Every family belongs here. All are welcome, and all are loved the same. 🤍

Being a doula isn’t just what I do, it’s a calling. My heart is to help every woman feel seen, heard, and supported as she works toward the birth she desires. And if the journey takes an unexpected turn, I will still be there every step of the way, supporting, advocating, encouraging, and loving her through it all.

What an absolute privilege to be invited into the courtroom to document the day my favorite Labor & Delivery nurse, who has become such a dear friend, officially adopted her sweet five-month-old foster baby.

There were so many people there to celebrate this incredible moment, so many tears, and so much love filling the room. Watching this little boy officially become part of the family that has already loved him so completely was something I’ll never forget.

He is growing up with a mommy who loves him more than words can express, in a home filled with faith, love, and unwavering devotion. What a beautiful reminder that family is built through love.

Help me bring comfort to moms on long hospital bed rest.

Sometimes pregnancy takes an unexpected turn, and some moms find themselves spending weeks in the hospital, waiting and hoping their babies continue to grow stronger each day. Those long days can become lonely and overwhelming, so I’d love to have small comfort kits ready to brighten their stay.

I’m collecting new items such as:

• Adult coloring books and markers
• Puzzle books
• Journals and nice pens
• Fuzzy socks
• Lip balm and unscented lotion
• Small games or activities
• Notes of encouragement

If you would like to donate an item or put together an entire comfort kit, please send me a message. Together, we can make a difficult season a little easier for these moms. 💕

✨ Now booking November, February, March, and April births! ✨

One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give an expecting family is this: hire your doula early.

The months before your baby’s birth are when we build trust, create a relationship, and prepare together. My goal is for you to feel like you already have a friend by your side when labor begins.

To make things easier, I offer monthly payment plans leading up to your due date.

As your doula, I don’t just show up on your birthday. I walk alongside you throughout your pregnancy by:

🤍 Attending several prenatal appointments with you

🤍 Visiting your home to meet your family

🤍 Providing personalized birth education

🤍 Helping you prepare physically, mentally, and emotionally for labor and birth

🤍 Offering breastfeeding support after baby arrives

As a mom of three, I breastfed all of my babies for a combined total of three years, so I understand both the joys and the challenges that can come with feeding your little one.

For the past seven years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of serving families as an award-winning birth photographer and now as a birth doula. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, or home birth, I would be honored to support you.

I also offer maternity, birth, and newborn photography, allowing you to preserve every beautiful chapter of your growing family’s story.

Because I intentionally accept only a limited number of births each month, my availability fills quickly. If you’re due in February, March, or April, now is the perfect time to reach out.

I’d love to schedule a phone call or meet in person to answer your questions and see if we’re a good fit for your birth journey.

Before the contractions got stronger, there was this quiet moment.

Sitting together, braiding Casey’s hair, talking, laughing, waiting for the journey to begin. These are the moments people don’t always see when they think about birth work. Not the delivery itself, but the trust, the friendship, the calm before everything changes.

Being a doula is so much more than showing up for a birth. It’s holding space, offering comfort, and being present for the little moments that become some of the biggest memories.

Watching Casey become a mother was an honor, but moments like this are why I truly love what I do. Her family will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

International Home Birth Day

Today we celebrate the beauty, strength, and sacredness of birth at home. 🏡❤️

This image captures a moment that will forever be etched in my heart. Abby welcomed her son, Zyaire, into the world in my living room, surrounded by the people who loved her. Her sister, Alexis, was by her side offering steady support through every wave. Grandma Jeannie helped catch her grandson and then looked over at me through tears, because we were both crying as we witnessed the miracle unfolding before us. Midwife Khamissa guided the journey with skill and calm presence.

Home birth is not just about where a baby is born. It’s about being surrounded by love, trust, and the people who make you feel safe enough to do the hardest and most beautiful work of your life.

Happy International Home Birth Day to all the families, midwives, doulas, and birth workers who make these moments possible. ❤️

I had the amazing opportunity to interview Alberta, the owner of Effie Mae’s Kitchen in Zephyrhills. My studio is right behind her restaurant off Allen Road and SR54, and I’ve been waiting for a good restaurant to open nearby so my newborn parents can grab something delicious to eat while I’m photographing their newborn sessions.

Yesterday I got to sit down with Alberta and hear the story behind Effie Mae’s Kitchen. Through laughter and tears, I learned about the deep love she had for her mom, how she was raised around cooking, and how her mother was truly her best friend. You can feel the heart and soul behind every part of this restaurant.

If you haven’t been yet, don’t miss Soul Food Sunday this week!!
