FYI - NEW construction updates 169 & 4 at Zimmerman.

Work will continue at the Highway 169 / County Road 4 interchange this week as crews shift traffic and prepare for construction.

Traffic impacts - Northbound Highway 169 left lane overnight closure 253rd St. to 269th St.
Friday, March 27, 4 p.m. to Saturday, March 28, 6 a.m.

Temporary traffic signals will be activated Saturday morning, which should help improve traffic flow and reduce confusion through the work zone.

Roadwork - Crews will complete the traffic shift this week, including installing concrete barrier and pavement striping.
Next week, crews will begin pavement removal and excavation on the north side of the bridge and start grading and building the road base on the south side.

Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to slow down, follow posted signage, and use designated crossings. As traffic patterns change, crews are closely monitoring how the public moves through the area to address safety concerns.
