Always a good feeling when you step on the tee box and stripe one 300 yards right down the middle. 💣🏌️‍♂️

A good tee-box swing thought should be simple,one cue, not five. Here are some solid options:

-Smooth takeaway. Keeps you from getting quick.
-Swing through. Focus on the finish instead of the ball.
-Tempo. Great when you’re feeling rushed.
- Stay balanced. Especially useful with the driver.
-Commit. Pick the shot and fully trust it.
-Start it at the target. Focuses your mind on the intended ball flight.
-Easy speed. Generate clubhead speed without trying to crush it.
-Nuke it. 💣 If you’re in full send mode.

My favorite for a pressure tee shot: pick your target > one swing thought >commit.

The goal isn’t a perfect swing. It’s a committed swing.

Those greenside bunkers can be intimidating, but sometimes you just have to lock in, trust the swing, and hit the wedge.

Enjoyed shooting the Senior Club Championship at Spring Creek this week. A lot of great golf, great competition, and even a playoff hole. Conditions weren’t perfect with some early rain, but that’s part of the game!

What’s the play ?

🎯 Pin seek: If the pin is accessible, miss is safe, and your iron game is dialed go at it. Give yourself a real birdie look.

🟢 Middle of the green: If there’s trouble short/sides or the pin is tucked, take the middle. A 25–30 footer for birdie is still better than a short-sided chip or penalty.

🧠 My default: Middle of the green unless the pin is genuinely attackable. Make the par putt, and let the birdie happen.
