As we made our way back home yesterday, we couldn’t help but be repeatedly overcome by sheer gratitude and appreciation.

To all the wonderful people of Fort Wayne, IN who came out to A Book Affair - Thank you for such a warm welcome to all of the amazing vendors and talented authors, and for giving us one of the most energetic responses to The Chimera Snare series we’ve received yet on our journey. We are excited and honored to have you as readers.

We would be remiss if we didn’t commend Abygail and her amazing crew for putting together a truly vibrant and engaging space, full of new and familiar faces, for us to share our work connect with readers full of passion and excitement. It was a real honor to witness the birth of such a wonderful literary gathering.

We look forward to returning to Fort Wayne again hopefully in the near future. Until then, keep reading and keep those imaginations alive.

Greetings!

After a much needed break, we will be appearing at a pair of back to back events this weekend. This blitz we are preparing to set out on will be our longest, short trip to date.

Or, shortest, long trip?

Whatever. Same difference.

First up on Saturday 7/18, we are making our first visit to South Carolina for Midnight in the Queen City, by Authors After Midnight, happening in Fort Mill.

Right afterward, we are headed right back north to Michigan for our second appearance at the famous Detroit Book Fest happening on Sunday 7/19. Those of you who we met out there last time, come say hello! Don’t worry, we’ll be all wrapped up in time for the World Cup Final.

We are coming back with another edition of Worlds Collide Book Fair, hosted once again at Urban Forest Craft Brewing in Rockford, Illinois! This time, we're bringing the spooky Halloween vibes! 🎃

In addition to our roster of featured authors showcasing their work, we will have a costume party, Trick-or-Treating for any and all attendees who show up in costume, and a pet food drive to bring some festive energy to our furry friends and family.

Some of you may recall the artwork our good friend Art of Alex Kujawa had done for a special phlox seed packet we offered on some tiers of our last Kickstarter campaign. Seeing as how amazing that turned out, we decided to take things a little further. Here are two distinct art prints we have created in collaboration with Alex that we offer online and at in-person events and signings. Each of these full prints comes with an aforementioned seed packet, an exclusive holographic sticker, and features a small snippet of a chapter where these Dweller Cats make their little cameos in “Reflections.” Furthermore, a portion of the sales of these prints go towards supporting Bee Haven, a not-for-profit charity based in Illinois that helps protect our precious pollinators.
